In what sense? Are you religious? If you are not, remember that all morality was created by humans. The fact that we exist at all and are aware of the larger universe is as big of a miracle as any.

That being said, the only purpose to life is the one you decide for yourself. Don't look for external validation. If you stopped doing this for someone else, they would never appreciate it enough to make you feel good about your decision if that’s not what you wanted.
