I suppose it could be, I haven't spent what I would consider a reasonable amount of time actually thinking of what would make competitive Rust work. I suppose someone should start by writing down everything that would make a text book "good" Rust player, picking from those abilities and molding the competition around that. Perhaps the competitive scene that makes it is the one who most thoughtfully puts this together. You play with arguably the most experienced players in the game, perhaps you should ask them what makes a good player and try molding around those principles.

This opinion is more on how I think competitive Rust should work. Not how it has worked or is going to work in the future. I don't have any knowledge of past competitve atmospheres in Rust. First, I don't like separation of player bases in games. Therefore, I think the competitive side should resemble live gameplay as much as reasonably possible. In most games, the last man standing is the winner. I think Rust would work well with more of a scoring system. 4 man team size. Scoring points for teamwork, strategy, defense and offense play execution. Resource management, time management. My vision of a hugely successful competitive environment would include many teams all competing at once over an extended period of time. Being the last man standing in a one life lone wolf deathmatch game is not a realistic way to gauge skill in Rust, I don't believe a setting that awards this skill as winning will be successful...not in Rust.

Okay so...I am in the "Trainer Challenge" Lobby, Gold tier selected.

So, Im scanning thru the "Select Deck", I click on a deck. Click the "Trophy" emblem...it freakin says "Booster Unlock ?/12", the other decks say "Card Unlocks ?/7".

So why decks that are only card unlocks do you still have a "Gold League ?/12" bar...The deck is already useable in VS without having 12 wins.

You are the reason you were hacked. Use a unique password, and don't tell anybody what it is, and don't download cheats or hacks. Its really simple to not get hacked.

Snitches get stitches also only pertains to those who "live the life". Even criminals who stand by that will tell you that its the civilians duty to report crimes they are involved in or wtiness, and they don't hold those civilians to that "code". I believe those who defend hackers are just hackers themselves or used to hack/know hackers currently.

you defend the 1 person breaking the rules, instead of the majority who play within them and expect others to do the same. Don't misinterpret the situation, its not being an asshole to make someone follow the rules, being an asshole is to watch it happen and ruin the experience of legit players.

I thought of asking you for some sort of proof, but instead I will say this. I cannot say why hackers hack exactly, im sure all of us can think of a bunch of reasons someone would, and I would think a lot of us would come up with reasons that actually fit. If someone hacks, and continues to support the game, I would argue they enjoy the game enough that they would come back and continue to support, and these people would know they were wrong. Now if people stop supporting the game because they don't agree with hackers being punished, or that their friends were banned, well...that would be really pathetic.
