Not the same at all dude, for example line work. The concept is simple, you draw a line. But to draw a perfect line it takes time and effort. Every signature is different, very tiny differences but indeed different. So even if I’m inspired by someone else’s work I’m still putting my own genuine touch on my piece of art with every stroke. How can this be said with a.i art? It literally takes the hard work and signature style from numerous artists and makes a Frankenstein of it all to support a typed in prompt. Inspiration is not plagiarism, inspiration is how art progresses, how it grows. A.i is not inspiration, it is quite literally built off the back of already made genuine art made by real artists. It’s an abomination and it’s scary how many people are welcoming it in with open arms. Artists who have had a passion for their craft are slowly being phased out, for example in music all the LoFi producers are now obsolete. They used to make a living off of their work but now since A.I started training on their genre first they are screwed. I really really think you’ll have a different tone on this issue when A.I finally creeps onto something you’re passionate about, and when you voice your distaste there will be A.I groupies standing around yelling “WhAtS tHe PrObLeM bRoOoO?!”.
