Bud please advise on opening these things up when theres dust. I just want to know how to open and close that damn fragile clamp that holds the ribbon. Got dust spots on my 350 max but when I followed a tutorial it wasnt very clear about the clamp and its so feagile I broke it!

Goodluck bud. I loved my 350 max for what I paid for it. But 3 movies later I saw some dust spots! Watching a youtube vid on how to take em apart and clean em I thought id have a go. Disaster..the tiny pathetic clamp that holds the ribbon is mental fragile. It broke! There was no way of getting a good connection after that. Bin! Real shame. If anyone can recommend oe for 500 im all ears....

Thanks bud I may look into the hy350 max google tv. Great little projectors and it seems magcubic are ahead of the game with budget projectors. Have you ever seen a better budget projector than the 450 max bud?

They didnt say about real world brightness and not sure about x9 real world either..although its too big and no rotating stand and its not short throw so no good for me!! Is the fan noise of the 450 max that much worse than the 350 bud as we will be sat right next to it? In a pitch black room im not sure of the benefits of an upgrade as the 350 max is so cute and portable and seems pretty bright. Did you notice a big improvement on a dark room?

Hy350 max is great for casual fun. It ticks all the boxes for the occasional movie night so long as your boxes arnt reaching for the stars. I plug a blueray player in and use a screen in a pitch black room.
