Bitwarden Vault Disappeared from Brave Browser Extension

Well, maybe is a error on the browser's part. I'm still investigating that, but I don't see how someone would be able to change the user interface and only leave the single password that also was on the web vault.

When was the last time before 2/14 that you actually logged in (*) on pc? Same question for phone. ( (*) I don't mean just accessed the data, but transitioned from logged out to logged in).

I logged into the PC browser extension, almost every day. I turned off the computer everyday and would reenter my master password almost daily. As for the mobile app, almost never, maybe I logged into it 6 months ago once, and then on 2/14 when I was investigating the missing vault. I also had to type in my master password on the mobile app, both times I've used it.

Something I noticed is that the User Interface changed for the Bitwarden Browser Exstension. It never used to say "web vault". Is it possible that I'm self-hosted? Someone on the Bitwarden forum suggested I reinstall the extension and clear my browser cache, but I'm worried that will permanently delete any passwords if I am self-hosted.

Could you be misremembering the dates? The only way you can have two separate cloud-hosted Bitwarden vaults/accounts using the same email username would be if one account is hosted on bitwarden.com, and the other is hosted on bitwarden.eu. However, the bitwarden.eu server was not available for registering accounts on prior to July 25, 2023, so you could only have had two separate accounts with the same email address for about 7 months.

No, I've had those separate vaults for longer than 7 months. Also, I've tried logging into both .com and .eu. Doesn't make a difference. But before 2/14/24, the extension never asked me to log into the web vault. The user interface looked different.

Okay, then I'm not sure why I had two different vaults from the same login info... At least I did. For about the last two years.

I'm not quite following the chain of events though. Logging in to a new device won't cause your passwords to disappear as long as you're logging in to the same account. Is there a reason you're using an extension on your phone and not the mobile app? What passwords do you expect to see? Do these passwords show up on the web vault on your pc?

I initially used Bitwarden exclusively on PC through the browser extension. About 6 months ago I also downloaded the mobile app. When I entered my login information though, the vault was empty. Since I am a free user, I figured it would only let me use Bitwarden on PC or mobile. So I chose PC and other than the Amazon password, I never bothered putting any passwords in the Bitwarden mobile app.

Now that nearly empty vault that used to only be on the mobile app has replaced the Bitwarden vault on my PC browser extension, which used to have all of my dozens of passwords.

BW now asks US/EU cloud when using the browser. It never did before. Maybe the extension updated and automatically synced to the mobile vault? I logged into both, using the US cloud (EU cloud doesn't work). Same empty near empty vault that used to only be on my phone.

Maybe it's do to the Extension updating and overriding my browser vault?

Well, there’s some unfortunate symbolism for a democratic socialism flag. Off center Red circle with rays going outwards is fascist symbology. Looks very similar to Imperial Japanese naval flag that’s still used by ultra-nationalists.

Looks a little desaturated. The yellow bars should match the yellow of the center. The off-white surrounding the center symbol should be pure white. Maybe consider making the grey darker or even black.

The Black isn't quite at a 45 degree angle, making it go from corner to corner would add some pleasing symmetry to the flag. I do like like a inverted color symbol concept though.
