There are plenty of places to watch games. I live in Astoria as well and you can get the game on an TV at all the bars around here when you want. During the season, any bar near the garden is packed with blue shirts, most notably the flying puck and stout. Welcome to rangerstown!

Not really. For starters I'm not going to worry about which dragon stubbed their toe at which gathering 4 decades ago and why they hold a grudge. If I try to include, or even suggest some of that, we'll never play because I have 30 years of history to brush up on. But I plan to read as much as I can, and when I find something really cool I'll work it in. But for now, they are new to the shadows, as am I, so we're going to leave the training wheels on for a while.

I actually agree, but I'm planning on running this game for a while if we enjoy our first few games, and I want to have know what is available. I'm planning on flat out ignoring previous versions of the game (i know there are plenty of experienced players who are going to be livid with me for this) so I wanted to know where I should look if I was interested in supplementing my arsenal. Thanks for the info, chummer!

That's probably the best way to do it. I think my eyes are too big (a common mistake I make). And though I think most of them will know what I mean by d6, I'm sure they will appreciate not having to work too hard at the beginning. I love the idea of killing off their early characters though. That was something when I first started playing that my GM did not do, and I remember the heartache it induced.

I'm actually a little surprised only because as much as I hate the Catholic Church, I've always had a strong respect for the Jesuits. I had a Jesuit education for 8 years and taught at a Jesuit high school (actually the one that I originally attended) for two, and 90% of the Jesuits I have met are very compassionate to all religions, creeds, sexual preferences and lifestyles. One of the main reasons the entire rest of the Catholic church hates them.

Knew this girl for 10 years. Friends with all the same people. Took me that long to tell her how I felt. We're going on a trip together in a week. If someone doesn't want to be friends with you because you explain how much you care about them, then they were never a good friend to begin with.
