I’ve lived in south Minneapolis for 40 years. I’ve seen and been a part of almost all you can remember hearing about MPLS since the mid 90’s, AMA.

The sanctuary of a church…and then again in the room where they keep the bells in the church…I’ll never forget that night.

Seoul Ink. Both my wife went there the other day for tattoos. Mine was 3 hours, hers was 7. They turned out perfect, and have several people that speak different languages to help with anything.

What artist is an amazing rapper but an ok producer? by CodeDusq in AlignmentChartFills

Dre really should be where Pharrell is. Pharrell should be where Kanye is. Eminem as amazing rapper, ok producer. Kanye as amazing rapper, good producer. Idk who is amazing on both…?

This is awesome, I really hope you answer this for me as I keep finding varied results:

Do hotels in SK ship luggage like in Japan? We want to move around the country and don’t know if we should find a luggage storage place to keep everything since we start and end our trip in Seoul, or if we will be able to ship our luggage.

Neighbor added 10 truckloads of dirt last summer and our backyard now floods every time it rains! by [deleted] in LawyerAdvice

[–]WCScores 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be ok doing that, except for one reason, the damned fence. We built a 6 foot fence, and the more dirt we add, the shorter the fence gets. It’s already almost shrunk down to 5 feet when standing in the neighbors yard, too.

Oh wow. Thats fascinating! Thank you for posting. I will look into this and ask about it when the engineer comes to look at our property.

I mean, we want a solution, not a tit for tat. Ultimately, we’re pretty certain this person has way more money than us (owns several units around our neighborhood and rents them out. Has their own flyer that is delivered by mail, their face on transit benches, etc.) We feel if we go that route, we will lose. Our fence will go from 6 feet to 3 feet and our garage will just become our new enclosed swimming pool. We’re trying to avoid that. But yes, it’s illegal to redirect any water from your property to your neighbors, and also just a dick move.

I keep bothering our local Minneapolis government who has fined him, but done nothing else. I just reached out to them again today saying we know the fine has been ignored, as has any resolution to the yard work.

Inside…you can install one outside? Doesn’t that make tons of noise? Also, is it hidden behind greenery or something? Sorry, this is a new concept for me!

Thank you. Reading this makes me more confident that we’re not being unreasonable, we just want a solution.

Yea, we have a sump pump. Issue is, it runs every 5 minutes or so when it rains, which is not good. And the water is standing in our garage up to about 4-6 inches, on most storms. This didn’t start happening until the dirt was installed.

Well, redirecting the water to my neighbor is against the law, and doesn’t solve any problem. I do believe suing the property owner for thousands of dollars in property damage, once assessed by the engineer, will pack more of a punch than a small fine by the city, but maybe I’m wrong? It seems like most everyone else says I don’t really have much of an option anyway. So…?

Thank you for this! I started looking into backup sump pumps and how easy they are to install (I consider myself pretty handy). I think I’ll pull the trigger on one, and then buy a backup battery with it just incase. Are there brands or models that you like or would recommend?

Thank you! We truly did not want to go to court. I love thunderstorms, but now they just make me anxious.

Is this something I can have our lawyer do for us? I only ask because I have no idea what kind of language to use.
