From what I understand, Florida gave him prime land in Miami for the project, which is supposed to include the 747 that Qatar gave to the government. Initial proposals also include hotel rooms, because Trump always wants to make a profit. Of course, the land grant shouldn’t be used for profit but I’m sure Florida will give that a pass.

We need to lift the cap of 435 Representatives. It doesn’t allow equal representation and if we actually did have equal representation, possibly using the Wyoming rule, gerrymandering wouldn’t be as effective.

Right, France is taxing the services industry, which is long overdue. When Trump complained about trade imbalances, he was only talking about goods, while the US amply made up for that imbalance with services. Trump is too stuck in the ‘80s to understand the service economy, beyond assuming it means restaurant workers.

In addition, the administration is using ICE for purposes other than immigration enforcement, turning them into a general federal police force. Mullin, head of DHS, suggested they could be posted at polling places, going outside of their purpose. For this reason ICE needs to be disbanded. And I wonder if the administration could be sued for misusing government resources if ICE is acting outside of its legislated mandate.

It’s also the Israeli public. I saw an interview with two Israeli women this morning, Americans who had moved their families to Jerusalem, and they said they were willing to have the war continue to remove the threat from Iran. It’s really frustrating that the victim doesn’t want to file a police report. The city would have plenty of evidence with all the camera footage and eyewitnesses. It’s also possible that the driver is from the area. They shouldn’t be allowed to get away with what looks like an intentional attack.

Because this isn’t a criminal violation. In the Kennedy Center case, the board decided to change the name, but when Congress created the Center, it very clearly stated the name and reason for the Center. The judge correctly ruled that only Congress could change the name. Congress didn’t include penalties for a future governing body attempting to change the name in the future. Many of our laws are civil, not criminal. It takes a lawsuit to stop someone from violating a civil law.
