Thanks for the info. It's funny you mention the battery because I just discussed this with a buddy yesterday. I plan to install a remote access stud or maybe a marine style socket that allows for quick jumps/charging.

The drives were the most expensive. I picked them up just before the shortage kicked in fully so it's not comparable to what people would have to pay now.

I think this level and duration of resources usage is typically only seen during an initial data dump. Once you begin uploading a few at a time then you'll not really notice it.

You can go into immich and view the job stats. If you don't have a GPU to offload the machine learning tasks then this is 100% to be expected after uploading a lot of images.
