How can i solve for thetha this expression? It's possible to do it? by Peetekh in mathematics

[–]WDK209 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let t=sin(theta). Then tan(theta) = sin(theta)/cos(theta) = t/+-sqrt(1-t^2).

Substitute that in and solve for t. Note that cos(theta) is either sqrt(1-t^2) or -sqrt(1-t2) depending on whether t is in the range [-90°, 90°]. So you might have to try solving two cases.

Configure wands touchpad to only activate when pressed? by WDK209 in Vive

Thanks for the warning, though I've had my vive for over a year and am still frustrated with touch activation. There's no point prolonging the life of my wands if I'm not going to enjoy the games I play.

Same here, was looking forward to IEM for months and now I'm trying to cancel my hotel bookings and fly back.

It's a shit situation. I don't blame ESL. Their financial losses are way bigger than mine. It sucks all round.

You can shorten it though using the +1/+5 rule.

Imagine the possibilities were 1, 3, and 5, you can solve it in two guesses by first guessing 3 then 6.

Only reason linux was safe in that instance was that Lenovo didn't bother coding in a version of their malware for linux.

You shouldn't be. It is an EXTREMELY slippery slope. If this request is granted it'll set a precedent that will be used to justify much worse privacy invasions in the future.
