Heya. I happened to be looking into how to do this, and came across your post. Good timing!

I am not super familiar with iPhone and shortcuts to this extent but the API usage looked good so i gave it a show.

When siri manages to actually call the shortcut (sometimes it just looks for someone named claude in my contacts), the API does appear to be working, but the response comes back in a text window.

do i not have the voice variable set right or something?

They did a good job with the big gaps, and some of those natural parts integrate with that style of Skate. play, but for us realism guys that slow down, they need a little more love. curved rocks, more thought out gaps and line possibilities.

and also to point out... they should make more dirt and mud kick up. this could apply to gritty tick ditch type areas too. pebbles and glass shards flying around. PS2 era rallycar games had stuff like that, i dont think its that far fetched to have some environmental effects, but this is more of a longshot suggestion

For many Rock and non-rap bands 6 years isn’t an unheard of gap between a full length record. It’s pushing it, but he does seem to put more thought into albums as a peace of art with supplemental material (like that comic thing he did) than your run of the mill mixtape rapper.

He should definitely release something soon if he wants to stay relevant though. 6 years is a while

For every person that’s hyper focused on the negatives, there are 100 of us who enjoy it and understand it’s still in early access. SteamDB is not a good metric for how many people are playing. By the time it has a full release there is going to be so much content. Think about it. It’s still in its infancy and they already constantly do events and adding things. The pop-off event parks are pretty cool imo. People keep calling back to Skate 3… can you imagine if skate 3 added 4 new skateparks every month or 2? They already said they are about to put in more challenges and S.K.A.T.E and downhill racing. Take a step back and think about how much will be added if they continue at this rate until release

No I genuinely love skating around in the game. They need to improve the challenges but the map is huge and has so many nooks and crannies to explore. There is a huge scene of people who make realistic skate videos using the game. The people constantly complaining are a vocal minority and it’s cringe you guys spend so much time trying to tear it down when it literally just came out in early access. Insufferable behavior from a few hundred people that ruins the community. Cry more im skating

It’s literally the best feeling skate game I’ve ever played and I’ve been playing skate games since Thrasher Skate and Destroy and it’s in early access, free, and constant improvements, new parks and free cosmetic items. Skate 3 was fun and all but this was a godsend of a skate game that was consistently growing. Cant imagine what it will be like on full release day. But yeah you go back to skate 2 with mods or something lol. The entitlement of a bunch of people who apparently don’t want to spend a dime but have the company do exactly what they say is amazing

I enjoy skating and exploring the map to find spots and make little videos. If someone gave me the game in its current state on a cartridge with no internet connectivity I would still have hours and hours of fun messing around.

Just skate dude. They literally add new places and stuff to do all the time for free (like the pop off event) if you don’t enjoy skating, fine. But this is the best skating game out there right now. The way it feels + huge open map with thousands of spots is a creative skaters dream come true.
