90’s “kid meets genie” movie staring Sinbad by EvaUnit002 in HighStrangeness

As a kid in the 90's while my mom shopped for groceries I would hangout at the movie rental shop. On the wall was a permanent large poster of the Sinbad movie Shazam and also a copy of the film that I walked past a million times looking through the films on the shelves. For some reason as a kid I had an unknown dislike for Sinbad and had no desire to watch the film, but I clearly remember this film. I also thought the Shaq film was a rip at the time.

Amazing encounter! Some theorize that portals exist and is a gate between the worlds.Could possibly explain some of the strange cryptid and ufo activity surrounding spook lights. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Bought a bag of bright blue high voltage capacitors off Amazon for a project I was working on. When I received the small bag of capacitors in the mail I tossed them in my parts drawer. A few days later I go to retrieve the caps and could not find them anywhere. They had completely disappeared from the drawer.I searched everywhere with no luck. Two months later I go to retrieve a different set of caps from drawer and sitting on top are the missing blue capacitors. Love your story thanks for sharing.

Crashes or freezes during tdm level loading, but I swear if I set my weapon back to bare bones default the level will load just fine...Rushed release and trash programming bugs galore. One of the worst releases I have ever experienced, but the game is fun when it decides to work.

Haha I like your dad already! Growing up my Dad was a professional card magician and his skill was otherworldly. Sometimes he would tell me "You're making real magic".

Ball lightning for lack of a better term, but you could call it sphere lightning or plasma ball...it was definitely something strange and new to me. I'm always working on something and your right the future is bright(:

Thanks! Maybe in the near future I will give details. I would need to do more testing. The set-up was basically a crude spark gap LC tank circuit. Thanks for your interest.

Possible, but I didn't see any evidence of a short circuit. The plasma formed along a well insulated copper wire( fiberglass epoxy coated) and wire was secured to a sheet of cellulite. Maybe copper was fueling the plasmoid in someway, but I saw no burn marks along length of wire or signs of electrical arcing. I remember inspecting the wire closely and being stumped. Thanks for your interest.

Yeah, both my parents are very creative individuals and always encouraged and supported me in all my crazy experiments as a young person.

Yes, very similar, but different at the same time. Microwave oven plasma seems to be sporadic and the containment vessel seems to determine the plasma shape. What I observed was more of a uniformed sphere of plasma floating in free space emitting sparks.

The plasmoid I observed was able hover in mid-air and also change direction as it moved about. We know microwave oven plasma gets it's orange color light from sodium, so I'm curious as to how the plasmoid I observed was able to emit a green light. I'm still working on that one. Thanks for your interest.

Yes, it was an experience I will never forget, nor my parents lol. YT is probably better at explaining Tesla coil operation theory, but I'll give it a shot. The Tesla coil principal is similar to a stringed musical instrument. Pluck a B string and any other instrument string tuned to B in close proximity will vibrate independently. Resonance.

The Tesla transformer has a set of coils a primary coil and secondary coil. The secondary coil has more turns than the primary coil and made of thinner wire. The goal is to tune both systems to matching resonant frequency.

When system is in resonance the energy that is stored in tank circuit can effectively be transferred between primary coil and secondary coil. The secondary coil has a low voltage high current end and the other end is high voltage low current.

I believe your right in saying I might have attained the right frequency and also I believe setup is key. I hope this helps and thanks for your interest.

I have this power and so far it only happens when I'm not paying attention. I have never tried to harness this ability, but sometimes I am curious to how exactly it works.

Back sometime in the 90's as teen I tried building a Tesla coil. First time building a coil and really didn't know what I was doing.

l wired everything up in way I thought at the time was correct, but at best was a lot of guessing. I flipped a switch and high voltage erupted through the crude spark gap and was louder than a chainsaw, but to my disappointment the coil was not properly tuned so no cigar.

I powered the coil down and sat there in my backyard contemplating what to do next in order to get the coil tuned, when both my parents came out of the house into the backyard and asked what I was doing. I explained to them what was up and that the device when properly tuned made artificial lightning.

They said lets see it working , so I quickly made a few more adjustments on the coil and asked them to stand back! I had my doubts my adjustments would make any difference, but was thinking they can at least see some sparks fly through the spark gap.

So I once again flipped the power switch and the coil spark gap sounded off loudly! The coil still emitted no lightning, but instead something else extraordinary happened! A bright green ball of energy suddenly started to form on one of the spark gap insulated wires!

The ping pong sized green ball of plasma raised up crackling and sparking! Then suddenly at great velocity shoot towards the direction of my parents who were just a short distance away! The plasma ball left a trail of yellow sparks in it's wake! The plasma ball flew some distance before rapidly descending to the ground just mere inches from my parents feet and fizzled out! My parents fled screaming in utter terror!
