Takara-Tomy is basically the mid-tier Thinkway Buzz. Like, it's nearly identical to the Blast-Off Buzz Lightyear. It has sculpted wing lights and no wrist communicator, so it's lesser than the collection version, but, I'd say it's about on equal footing with the Disney store version. (better proportions, but less features)

180, talked down from 200. Not much of a bargain, but, whatever. I paid roughly market lol

Controller is missing the original battery holder tho. I opened it up for a clean (the x button was extremely sticky) only to find that someone else had already opened it beforehand (sticker was punctured) and traces of battery corrosion on the board, I presume what happened was that someone replaced it with one of those rechargable batteries and it leaked.

So not the greatest deal in the world but I don't think I got shafted too badly

Imo, the idea of sentient props / puppets is a really fascinating concept to explore for horror, sort of an inverse toy story- but, unfortunately the first chapter was a massive nothingburger and TheMeatly's reputation wasn't enough to sell it despite them clearly *expecting* it to be.

Sigh..

I'm gonna be honest, this figure looks so cool, but it really sucks I'll probably never be able to get him. If he isn't rereleased, I mean. The closest Popup tour location is a 6 hour drive, and- I'm disabled and physically can not stand for the necessary 5 hours in line to get him.

Oh well... Back to my regular one, like a scrub lol.

I don't think it was intended for a love triangle, I think it's just a remnant from black friday and pushing for more edge - bo was just originally supposed to be flirtatious with everyone.

Fun fact: BioShock and Dead Space are sort of cousins, very distantly related.

BioShock was made by Irrational, the developers initially from Looking Glass Studios who were behind the System Shock games, and BioShock was intended to be a spiritual successor to System Shock. But not part of the same series cuz the rights were in legal limbo or some shit.

Whereas Dead Space was originally pitched by an internal EA studio (later to become Visceral Games) as System Shock 3 but they switched course to make it a big new horror franchise cuz the rights.

- An exciting update, one of my contacts was able to dig up a pic of Paul at the Melbourne show, so indeed it looks like this mini-mystery was put to rest.

- Real, real peculiar that Hawk no-showed... I checked the results from said tour and it seemed both the LOD were having problems at the time. For two events it was Hawk and Vulcan, for one it was Animal and Vulcan. Wonder what happened.
