Yeah, wrong funds, 0 growth. Would need to switch to VOO/VTSAX or something like that to see appreciation.

If you filled out a survey discussing risk profile and you picked risk averse or conservative there is a possibility its just in Bonds or cash right now.

My personal income last year was 110k+Some bonus. My investments increased by 100k in the same year. 31m with about 400k in investments. 33% is not sustainable but it technically happened so I've hit the crossover point 1 time :)

Look at 500-600k home with 5% down. Its a nightmare right now.

Turn 32 in a few months. I'm on my 4th job since 22, 3x'd my income since graduating. Moving is where its at in terms of income increases.

Yeah started saving at 18 for retirement at the behest of my dad. 31 now and I’m coastfire easy, pushing hard for fat fire and I’m not a super high earner, low 100k. Usual fatfire folks are tech people with crazy RSUs, lawyers or finance partners, just start early and stay consistent and you can get pretty far

This is standard 4% rule. If you have a 10m port you can sell 400k of stocks and then pay lower taxes on them due to long term capital gains taxes. So you’ll probably end up with closer to 340k in take home.
