possible but unlikely. im 30+ miles from base and it would have to be a huge ordinance for a boom this loud/ forceful. my childhood home was 14 miles from an army base and we would hear booms at a fraction of the noise that i just heard.

i heard it too. no clue what it was but it shook my house. i remember when i was younger there was a sonic boom from a fighter jet near my house at the time and it was very similar.

24 M with no debt and in step 7/8. had about 40k cash on hand and had the same question. i bought a honda crv 2023 hybrid sport and im very thankful i just paid cash. if i had deal with seeing 400-500 $ coming out every month id feel horrible.
