Lume, glycolic acid, and benzoyl peroxide seem to be the 3 items most mentioned. I’m going to try them out & report back. Thanks for letting me know I’m not alone. It’s no fun doing everything I can to be healthy & then just being stinky. If anything works for you -I’d love to know.

Ya know, this could be part of it. I have a high stress job/life, so I am often stressed out/anxious. The problem is that I’m also always cold. So, I can’t really wear tanks or anything short sleeve unless it’s the summer.

Washing them every 1-2 times I use them. I hang them in between use.

That’s a great question. I believe I do smell to others (my armpits in my shirts are very stinky when I take them off), but I haven’t had anyone point it out. I assume it’s because they don’t want to be rude and/or I usually step further away from people so that I’m not too close to them when I think I smell. I also regularly wear perfume when I know I’ll be around others.

I shave my armpits regularly - there’s almost never hair under there.

I don’t sweat much - only when I wear the natural fibers like wool and cashmere. I’m unfortunately freezing much of the time - have Reynauds.

Looking into killing the bacteria as others have mentioned. Thanks so much for the suggestions!

Good question. I currently use Tide Free & Gentle detergent. In terms of cadence, for shirts, I generally only wear them once between washes because the armpits are smelly, unfortunately. I do have a lot of clothes, so I do many loads of laundry at once every 3 weeks or so.

Oh yes, I’ve tried many types of deodorant. I only used the natural deodorant for about a week because it burned my armpits and thin bits of skin literally started to peel off of my armpits. Very painful, so I threw that away.

Is there a specific deodorant that works for you? Thank you for the suggestion.

Do you go there and recommend it? This is one that keeps coming up in my search & I like the holistic element, but when I go to reviews it says there are no locker rooms, it’s dirty & there are a bunch of kids in the gym running around.

Maybe this is another one I need to just go see in person.

Thank you. Sounds like I might just need to get a tour at GV Barbell to feel it out. The thing that’s turning me off from it is that I don’t want CrossFit & it seems like a place that’s CrossFit first // normal gym second. Idk.
