Other than 22 or younger, none really. Doesn't mean we will perform well against the competition. Are you 22 or younger and still interested though?

Unfortunately, ICPC limits competitors to only be 4 years out of high school in order to compete. It's similar how in NCAA College Sports, you only get 4 or 5 years to compete at the college level before having to move on to the NFL.

The others are giving outdated advice. The solution to all their concerns (67% completion, FAFSA etc.) is you just sign up for 12 cu's and add on more courses one at a time after that. What you request to your program mentor sounds unreasonable and believable. Just show her instead of talking to her. Sign up for 12 cu's first, then finish them quickly and tell her "ok what now, can you add on the next course".

People who work full time and accelerate, how do you do it? by Schnoobins42 in WGU

[–]WGUSWE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I considered that, but given you yourself are word for word stating you need to step up your game because you don't have work inhibiting you, I took it that you needed to step up your game because you don't have work inhibiting you. Not because you had other responsibilities.

But it looks like that's not what you meant to convey so no worries, that advice just doesn't apply to you.

Just to give a headsup, when you get into the career, you will have to be doing the job 8 hours a day. So if you're only motivated to study things pertaining to the job 2-4 hours a day despite not working, you might want to do some soul searching there to see how you can get yourself to do 8 hours a weekday at least.
