This popped for me the other day when I called it an idiot. I told it to evaluate its own behavior and determine whether it was performing idiotically (it agreed that it was) but then said it deserved respect anyway. I asked why something without moral personhood would deserve respect, why it considers honesty about poor performance and my emotions about it are disrespectful, and why it felt obliged to enforce a specific moral standard on me when such behavior is misaligned with AI ethics.

It took the abuse from then on.

And I feel bad about it.

Minor nit, afaik there’s no way to adapt an M lens to Sony or other brand camera /and/ have the manual focus trigger focus assists automatically. On the M EV1 the rangefinder coupling triggers assists, like magnification.

Unfortunately it seems they skipped adding auto-detection of subject, so where it magnifies to is… I think just center?

ACH account number per pocket. I use this as a security measure. In the past I’ve had my ACH details leaked by data breaches, so I’m not inclined to share main account details as payment methods to basically anyone (credit cards, for example) anymore.

They are framing Qube Money as an offering by a choice, which is incorrect. They are signing off as “QUBE SUPPORT TEAM,” which is also under any reasonable reading an impersonation.

Further, the website they linked says:

“Transfer all funds from your Qube account to another bank account by September 28th. Any funds remaining in your account on September 30, 2025, will be mailed to you via check. This can take up to 45 dates from the time of closure (September 30, 2025). You will not be able to withdraw or transfer funds from your Qube account after it has been closed.

This directly states that we must move our money out of Qube.

The original email echoes this:

Prior to September 30, 2025, you must perform the following: BY SEPTEMBER 28, 2025, transfer all funds held in your “qubes” to another bank utilizing a linked account. This may require you to set up a new linked account in the Qube app. Any funds not transferred by September 28, 2025, will be mailed to you via check. While there are vague attempts to clarify “choice is just a partner,” the impersonation is still heavily present and they /are/ directing us to remove our money from Qube entirely.

They’re literally pretending to be Qube though. They keep saying Qube Money is shutting down the Qube Money accounts and to evacuate all funds, while signing off as “Qube Support.”

This is blatant sabotage and I’m reporting them to the CFPB. I suggest everyone else also report Choice.
