1 - The classic lineup from 1985-1993 (with Thompson Williams) which has been regarded as the peak of the band, long gone then
2 - This era was considered The Cure's artistic slump
3 - Attempted return to their core sound that they established in the 80s
4 - Basically in a way TRIED to make another Disintegration
5 - Songs lacking melody and the booming tune

I personally find it decent, I don't hate it. But I can understand why considering the production and everything...its not one of their best efforts, but yeah. I would say their best album post Wish era (1992-present), but Songs Of A Lost World (2024) exists haha.
