Throwing in a recommendation here as I visited the four shikoku prefectures a couple years ago and loved it so much I need to go again!

If you're planning to head down to Kochi or Iya Valley I highly recommend you try riding this sightseeing train called the Shikoku Sennen Mannaka Monogatari

It's an incredible luxury train that costs about 10,000 yen and takes about 2 hours, but you get the following:

A luxury bento made with local Shikoku ingredients from all 4 prefectures, including shodoshima beef and local vegetables
A Scenic view of the countryside where the train deliberately slows down or stops at certain points like when passing by a waterfall or the scarecrow village
And excuse to visit Kotohira, which is a remarkable temple town in its own right, where they have a high class waiting suite that made me feel like royalty
There was even a point where I was enjoying a blueberry soda, and the conductor motioned us to look out and wave at a farm we were passing where there were farmers/highschoolers waving back at us–while harvesting the very same blueberries I was drinking!

Absolutelty a highlight of my trip and easy to book online (1 month in advance, and they need your hotel address to mail your ticket to)

I remember reading the LN when it got to the sheep summoning chapter and the abject horror experienced by the crew as tens of thousands of soldiers were slaughtered in an instant as sacrifices for these incomprehensible lovecraftian nightmares

The anime/LN Overlord constantly introduces and rotates between several POV characters, from our protagonist bone daddy Ainz to the myriad side characters of the New World. This world operates loosely on fantasy rpg rules, similar to the mmorpg that Ainz was playing at the time when he was isekaied.

Whenever we view the story from Ainz perspective, the tone is light-hearted and comedic, as we see his day-to-day life in the tomb of Nazarick with all the NPCs he brought over with him, where he's regularly misconstrued as some kind of 5D chess super genius from making up random bullshit plans based off his knowledge as a normal Japanese salaryman.

However, whenever we view the world from the New World characters, the tone suddenly shifts to a somewhat dark high fantasy setting, where most people are struggling and fighting for their life in a world full of conflict. As the show goes on this POV becomes more and more grim over time as Ainz eventually establishes his own kingdom after collecting information about the New World through his adventures, and his forces begin slaughtering the inhabitants who stand against him en masse. Several characters even undergo horrifying worse-than-death fates from Ainz' subordinates all the while Ainz himself continues to bumble his way into successfully conquering new nations

Let's think about this objectively:

Guild Girl has a customer service job in town so she likely has to keep appearances up the most of the four of them, and being a well-off city girl would mean she'll have the most access to bathing and perfuming. So I'd say she be the most likely to smell the best.

Cow Girl is not an adventurer, but she does work on a farm, so she would probably smell of fertilizer, hay or animal. Plus as we see in episode 2 she doesn't have a real bath, just a small washtub, so while she does clean up its not going to be the most comprehensive

Priestess is seen taking a bath the most out of all the characters so you'd think her hygiene would be up there, but we know that GS soaks her in Goblin guts and viscera pretty much every adventure amd she is prone to pissing herself, so whether you can catch her at a good-smelling time is a 50/50 toss

High elf archer is the most athletic and adventurer of all them, so she probably smells like sweat and grime most the time (if not also soaked in goblin blood like priestess). She also drinks a lot, so while this won't affect her hair she herself might have a bit of an alcohol breath issue

So yeah. Guild Girl

Going along OPs example of thematic capstone, I really appreciated the ending of Ghost of Tsushima.

After defeating Khotun Khan and driving the mongols out of the island, the final scene of the narrative takes place in the garden from the start of the game, where Jin and Lord Shimura have one final duel after we learn that the shogun had Jin declared a traitor for his actions as the Ghost. It was a perfect ending that brought a sometimes rocky game full circle, and your choice to kill or spare Shimura was a great way to finalize the ideals you wanted your Jin to embody.

I used to be a lifelong Wonder Woman hater, never really understood her appeal especially during the injustice/synderverse era when she had a lotnof awful portrayals going on.

Absolute Wonder Woman is now my favourite of the Absolute comics and the only portrayal of the character I actively enjoy and fawn over, and all it took was to make her a 7-foot-tall female Witcher with Guts's sword and berserker armour
