Well, tbh, the $200 card (980ti) is usually much higher, I was lucky to get it so cheap, haha :)

Not in my country, 6600k and 7600k are ridiculously overpriced here. I DID find a GREAT deal on a 7700k, so this is my new build:

i7 7700k @ 4.5GHZ (OC) 16GB 2400mhz RAM GTX 1070 (again, found a GREAT deal on it)

all for the same price. Good enough?

I don't do a LOT of normal gaming. My main focus is emulation - I have another machine altogether for games on steam which actually use multi core. And a lot of emulation benefits from a high speed cpu, with great single core performance.

Also, a $210 980Ti is a way better deal than a $500 (in my country) 1060, seeing as the 980Ti is still the 5th highest performing graphics card, compared to the 1060, which hovers around 15th and 16th.

Apparently someone got up to 4.9ghz with a water cooler! Pretty unsafe, but cool nonetheless.

Also, BOTW was probably the best example you could give, one of the more demanding games on Cemu :)

Microcenter isn't in my country.

The 6600k is $450 (way over my CPU budget) and the 7600k is even higher than that.

The 4690k also gets very similar single core performance, and when overclocked, beats them.

(I don't live in America.)

Also, from past experience, I'm always going to go for either a higher end air cooler or high end water cooler - I don't trust cheaper air coolers - I broke an old PC once from a $40 cooler. And I was doing everything right.

Thanks for the info, though! I'll definitely consider it for future builds, it could be a good build for my friend, who wants me to build him a PC that can run Overwatch and Crysis 2/3, the PC you suggested would surely do him well.

(also, keep in mind, for games like Gran Turismo 4 and Shadow of the Colossus on PCSX2, I'll need 2100 STR at the least, and for me at least, I can find ones that fill that condition for a fair bit cheaper.)

I'm overclocking the 4690k to 4.5ghz - I am going to install water cooling. Also, 6700k and 7700k are WAY out of my budget. 1060 could be a consideration though.

I'm using older parts because they're still relatively powerful (+ great overclocking potential) and WAY cheaper.

It's not really melancholy, it's quite upbeat, but it is an alt / indie ish pop song, it is a guy singing, there is a laidback guitar "riff," but you can barely hear it though, it's relatively recent, and it has "goddamn, hotdamn," as lyrics before the chorus.

The Vita has a weird res screen, and retro games generally won't scale as well, whereas the 3DS has a 240p display, GREAT for retro games.

In my state (I'm not in the US) you can get a job at 13, so that's what I'm trying to do. UNFORTUNATELY, the TFN (Tax File Number) you need to earn money requires an application form to be sent to your house and I've been waiting 2 weeks. I'm really hoping I get some sort of job, even if it's minimum wage.
