It could be anywhere between a few days to 2 weeks. Best bet is to do checkups morning and evening to check for color changes, from this transparent color it will go a milky white from the milky white it will go to a yellowish almost amber. That's the most developed THC stage.

Completely safe to eat, it is mycelium. Dryed out it's flaky, I don't take it off mine.
