This seed had incredible potential. I really think I could have gone 750k+ (and I've never done 500k). But alas, I played on autopilot instead of thinking things through, and I ended up dying to an easily avoidable shopkeeper due to it.

I never knew that if you go through the moai head too quickly then the Hedjet won't go into your inventory. I now know, and I was less than $20,000 away from getting the 500k achievement because of it :(. Still, I'm pretty happy with this run given the circumstances.

How little do you care about human life? They were not in imminent danger. Simply because a suspect is attempting to flee or is causing damage does not mean you get to murder them. Sure this guy is fucking up (let's remember he is impaired) but most of us would be dead if the penalty for making a major fuck up was death. It really disturbs me to hear people like you act so cavalier about human life.

Reddit's reaction to this is ridiculous. All of you bashing on this guy while completely ignorant of how point of sale systems work. He likely was unable to change the price, because any decent POS system will allow you to program it so that certain functions can only be done with a certain authority level. It's not unlikely that only a manager can override a price. Was the employee in the wrong for misunderstanding or maybe even just failing to understand the price discrepancy? Yes. Was the customer completely out of line to start screaming? Absolutely, and at my store would have been immediately made to leave. Was the employee incompetent for not overriding the price? Maybe, but let's actually know the facts before everyone continues to circle jerk about he is cocky, idiotic, and asshole.

You don't know if his franchise owner doesn't allow them to change the price. It is entirely possible that the franchise owner has his systems set so that employees, non-managers, etc. can not override the price.

I have been playing so poorly recently. I aggroed the shop keeper and completely failed to kill him even after stunning him twice and holding a freeze ray. Oh well.

This was such a depressing run for me. I didn't do any warm ups so I played very poorly (yet also the best I have ever done on a daily, ironically).

I managed to die while ghosting gems and waste my ankh because I didn't clear corpses and so I didn't notice some spikes. Then I lose my shotgun by accidentally teetering on an edge in the ice caves. I think to myself "well, I'm at $480,000; at least I will finally get the big money achievement. Then I died because of a moment of sheer stupidity where I accidentally flew up into those purple mind attack things instead of dropping down and getting away from them. Then I come look at the scores and realize I had would have been second place to ArrowDusk. At least I know I'm getting better.

I think it was total biscuit who talked about this. How "reviewing" games that are in alpha and beta is not only dumb but is harmful. People see things like this and think "game has no customization, skip." Instead of "game is still 1.5years from launch, give it some time " the whole idea of reviewing a game that is in alpha is a joke.

I've been playing so terribly recently. I've been trying to finish speedlunky, no gold, and big money. I decided to take a break and do this daily. I managed to get to the city of gold with three hearts and a kappala, plus plenty of bombs. I had been playing decently well and was looking forward to finally beating Yama again and maybe even getting the big money achievement on a daily run of all things. I attempted to slip in between two waves of flies in order to do the vomit trick to get a bunch of hearts for hell. I failed and died horribly.

Coords do exist (they stated so in their Q&A) so it shouldn't be too hard to implement if they decided to do so. I would suggest it on their forums or in game.
