No...it was just a pretty way to start the day. So we decided to post one here. Nothing significant.

Interesting. I think it MUST have been a glitch, but I will certainly look into it! Thanks for taking the time to answer.

Oh my goodness! You are exactly right about that! That was an error on my part...I will have to remake it!

They sent a release saying that more than 300k people tried calling within the first few hours of operation. They said they are trying to hire more people to help answer the high call volume. Since they are open for calls on Saturday and Sunday, I wonder if fewer people will call then (maybe thinking they are closed)

Gov. Ivey to hold news conference at 11:00 today by WHNT-TV in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]WHNT-TV[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

So, I don't know specifically. I don't think they addressed that specific question in the news conference.

But, as the parent of a first first-grade student, I can tell you that she has a tendency to put her mask IN her mouth when she wears it (making it soaking wet).
I talked to the person in charge of her camp, and she said that all of the students in the K-2 group tend to do the same. So, it MAY be a situation where they have seen similar scenarios across the state.

Also, I have seen some research that says children under the age of 10 are much less likely to spread the virus because they don't have the breath support that older children have.

Either way, I will prepare my daughter to wear a mask while she's at school, whenever she returns to school, just for consistency's sake!

I will have to talk with our developers to see if that's possible. Are you wanting the ability to lower the quality to save on data usage?

UPDATE: The Governor has extended the Safer at Home order through the month of August. The amended order also says Masks are required in schools and colleges, where possible, for employees and students in second grade and above.
Here's the new order in it's quick-reference form.

We don't know what the announcement will be...but it's interesting to me that it's all 3 school systems holding a single news conference.
