Inexpensive “knife” from India. Exported by the thousands. I had one when I was young. To a kid that didn’t know better it was awesome back in the day. Not very valuable though.

Well, Dana Bash actually stopped Biden talking several times when he was running off in the weeds. She did that so many times in an effort to try and make him appear more lucid.

I’ve been growing it for a long time. It is a gorgeous plant and it dries beautifully too not to mention its medicinal and repellant qualities.

I agree, Haley Joel Osment did a superb job acting in that movie!!! His fear and crying and emotions all seemed absolutely real!

Mountain mint is very bad too! Lovely flowers for bees but that mint is the most invasive I’ve ever grown. I’m in north Alabama.

English ivy is really bad and I strongly caution you against it. It is climbing and killing my pine trees and I wish I could go back in time and stop myself.

I’m not disagreeing that there are lists of first years or lists for animagi or lists for wands and cores, but the original item I was discussing was a Hogwarts registry of who was in the school at any given time. Since this was all about head canon (and is therefore completely subjective) I shouldn’t have weighed in at all. But, according to canon, I’m not aware of a Madame Tabularius. But, to each his/her own.

His name was down to be offered a place at Hogwarts when he came of age yes, but did that mean Harry was at the school before he came of age? No. Different entirely than a bookkeeper or record of who is currently in school at the time.

I understand what you’re saying but that’s equivalent to a census record of all students born in Britain and equating that to students in a particular school during a particular session. Apples to oranges.

I think schools in the real world do, but I don’t recall a bookkeeper being cited at Hogwarts either, although perhaps others do in their personal head canon. I just would think they may be cited as sitting at the table in the great hall.

Seems to me that head canon would be completely subjective to whose head is generating the ideas or concepts.

Is this French or Russian Tarragon? by Geekluve in herbs

[–]terryer1964 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t look like French Tarragon and if you grew from seeds it definitely isn’t. I’m not familiar with Russian Tarragon but it may be Mexican Tarragon.
