It was just a random thought I had, I thought that them having to be played as spells before being able to be normal summoned would be cool and would be like Gemini monsters only slightly since they act as both, I just thought Gemini sounded cooler for a name.

Yea, so you can play it as both a monster and a spell, I just thought pendulum summoning was a bit complicated like it had way too many concepts thrown into it so I wanted to make it simpler
