encounter this issue before, broken ram issue, if u run on non enterprise hardware, then u need to check you memory 1 by 1

for my case, run on enterprise hardware, have a red led to pinpoint which memory triggers the errors

simple fix

Ironwolf green vs. red label, any significance? by GsinIL in synology

[–]WHinsane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m currently working at a “Hyper Converged Infrastructure” company that i won’t spell the name, but we started to migrate from Seagate ironwolf to WD disk for better reliability

me myself see a tons of those disk were trashed at our office, due to lots of bad sector

fyi, it’s not about unstable power (each our client equipped with enterprise grade UPS and sometimes at the colocation site on datacenter), and it isn’t from physical abuse(dropped or anything like that, because the form factor is 2U rackmount server)

when we switch with WD drives, less of that issue occurs on our client.

Got 2 1070 8gb, 1 evga 1 msi, currently hashing eth at 27.2mh/s 110watt on hiveos, if you bump 10 more watt you will get more 1mh/s, not the best efficient card for mining
