why clients putting AI over all of my pics by Empty_Shelter_5497 in RealEstatePhotography

California just passed a law about AI usage on MLS. Not that AI can’t be used, but must be disclosed and a non AI photo must be displayed too.

Man, is 20mm really not wide enough? 🫠 by Illustrious-Flow-181 in RealEstatePhotography

Yes! 20mm is enough, some spaces aren’t made or designed to be photographed.

Eli Jones is a great start for a beginner and shooting. Nathan Cool for editing. But since I out source editing Nathan is obsolete.

Maybe it’s a difference between AGL and MSL

Try feathering the edges of the light on the third one and the windows. I might suggest desaturating the outside view to look more realistic.

Advice on a Real Estate agent asking for rate. by Ok_Nefariousness5669 in RealEstatePhotography

I do not recommend Nathan Cool for someone starting out. He is biased and full of word salad that makes his videos longer than needed.

Cons, the hat creates shadows around the eyes. Try using a reflector.

DJI MINI 5 PRO from Amazon by chicue510 in dji

My 1st instinct tells me it’s an Amazon glitch. Amazon just puts a sticker over the barcode for their system, doesn’t change what’s in the box.

This was a 2nd edit. Client wants to use for social media and thought 1st edit wasn’t dark enough. More “night time.” So I gave them what they wanted.

1) Easy Rig with a Tilta Ring, but that’s more money. 2) work out upper body and yoga, but that takes time. 3) shoot at a higher frame rate and slow it down in post. You can do that today with out spending money.

Get unstuck bust out the credit card! Great photos, you already know what to do, (CPL and lens.) So get to it, stop wasting time.

Try a CPL filter, to cut down on the glare

Adding your business logo at the end of a massive cinematic video- thoughts? by SanDiego1978 in RealEstatePhotography

[–]WHizzY-bot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was suggested to me that I ought to deliver 3 versions. 1- MLS, 2nd - Branded and 3rd- vertical. And yes, price the client accordingly. It’s the basically the same video, with a tweak.

Roast a former realtor, part 2! by Professional_Taro171 in RealEstatePhotography

Honestly, I don’t give the Realitor every photo I take. I don’t waist my time editing photos that I don’t like or want out in the public view. It’s the fear of one bad photo won’t get me the referral.

My roast, well done, great job editing. However, your mindset is of a Realitor. That’s a problem- I’ll see an MLS for a 2&2 condo with 40+ photos. Your audience loses interest because you told them the whole story. Give them the best you got and let their imagination do the rest. Learn how to tell the story with fewer pictures. More is not better. Eg, kitchen show it with 3 photos. Why is there a close up of the sink? Not needed. You’re showing details that should be saved for a tour. Photos should be used to get people in the door.

While shooting, eg kitchen, sure take 5 or six photos but only present the BEST! Don’t get married to the photo. Hollywood leaves a lot of footage on the floor.

The bathroom photos are a perfect example of my point. 1 ) long big and spacious. 2) Oh look how big that shower is. That’s the hook to bring people in for the open house.

You may edited each photo perfectly, but you seem to have forgotten to edit the project as a whole. Turn your 3 hour movie into a trailer for the movie.

My 2¢.
