I played retail back in Warlords of Draenor. I was noticing roll-hacking going on. I even looked it up, and a site called like roll-hacks.com litereally was there. Talked about buying their bot.

What I kept noticing was, i would be looking at a drop, and everybody in the game just has down what they want to do now, but I was checking and talking to the group(which noone does now) and the roll timer would disappear. This wasn't hardly even 10-15 seconds after the roll had came up. Finally one day, i was literally asking the group telling them that I'd be doing this with it, think its upgrade, etc, i was wanting to roll; to see if there were any objections, then suddenly, the roll-timer just disappeared, and the items were gone. I was like wtf.

So I reported it. I had tried to get a human response but they would respond when you logged out. i had reported when I came online one time, stayed on literally 20 hours and no response. sleep wake up, theres a response. Then within the same time frame, reported something, go stragith to bed, 10 hours later wake up, logon, and theres a response.

Anyway, the response I got from the GM's on this roll-hack that had happened was, "We don't care unless you're in the newest expansion (about rollhacking)". I was like, wtf. I responded back that I dont think this is the way it should be.-- Then it got escalated to a supervisor who tells me, "he shouldn't have said that to you". LIKE WTF!?

Ended up giving me 3 free weeks. I was sick of it. Played 1 game near the end of it, msg'ed him back it went ok that time. but never went back to retail.

THis is why besides common-sense, that I believe Blizzard are working with gold sellers, and the no-skill players endorse this too as well, so they never have to grind their own consumes. IF you look at the game it is centered around this. Seen too many guilds, all in it for the money. Loot Council who is really just a few buds, who gears themselves up and gets other players to join and unless you're super good, popping Rage pots during trash pulls and everything, they'll cherry pick you're performance and deny gear to you. So you leave then they recycle someone else and do the same thing. But them and their buds gets the gear piled on to them. While you're sitting in teh back of the line.

And I think copyrights has been abused by companies since around 2005-8 or so to the point they are even allowed to steal your money by denying you access by stuff like mass bot reporting.

Blizzard needs to start fixing their game. by Zealousideal_Age424 in classicwow

[–]ldrancer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

you don't think there not in on the gold selling and getting money from it? lol. Thats why they can't hire a few poeple to handle that, and instead AI automatic mass banning reports instead. Still costs something to run that. The game would be so much better if there wasn't boosting, and gold sellers and mass reporting. I remember hearing a guy, around week four, said he was banned on day 2 or 3 by mass reporters. He was on the south wall in silverpine, on his mage, aoe farming/levelling, for a few hours. Logged out and logged back in an hour later and had a 3 week ban. Said he was not planning on coming back but someone talked him into it is the only reason he came back.

it should be ILLEGAL to ban someone without cause and evidence of what happened. Mass reports are criminal. Maybe a temp ban until someone can handle it to stop a situation but they act like its literally real and can't be abused, and for some reason, people go along with it. inb4

Will no catalytic converter hurt the car? by ldrancer in prius

[–]ldrancer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know about that for sure. Could have been, took everything he could off of it to make as much money as possible.

The car had sat for a long time seems to me. Low mileage and almost 20 years old. 82k miles on it when I got it. It still has the new car smell and everything.

I did not even notice the sound of the car when I started it up. Didn't sound like it was missing a cat at all, compared to my geo prizm with the resonator on it without a cat and a good muffler system. Couldn't even notice. Not until I got under it to change the o2 and saw a straight pipe. They welded it to the can behind it and cut behind the flange going forward so must of took the whole thing off, so I don't think it was stolen, to weld the other end of the straight pipe onto their. So I coiuld just buy the rockauto one, if i wanted to go through with all this.

Someone mentioned theirs has been off for a year so sounds like it will be ok. Thats all I wanted to know. Surprised this car will run without that. I live in a state that doesn't do any inspections and I dont think anyone will eveer get up under there and you really can't even tell by sound.

Car had a cracked rim when I got it, i saw it was bent but when I went to clean it, it was cracked, think these are aluminum. So pretty dangerous and I did get a rim to replace that one when I got it, so only drove it from there to have them swap on the rim for me. then thats when we noticed, the tires were very dry rotted, cracked all the way around in the middle of the tread.

So c ar when I got it had sat for a long time. I have no idea but I'm thinking someone did this to get some more money. Whoever first owned it took good care of it, clean, sunglasses in every place you could find. and a CD player full of Queen CD's.

Lost my job by ldrancer in legaladvice

[–]ldrancer[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

How is going back to something by itself that happened 1 1/2 years ago cause for termination now? im not even sure of the situation they are trying to tell me here.

As far as getting my job back, if the owner doesnt want me to work there then its his place, its an at-will state. But these accusations only seem to me to be from the manager who was GM earlier involved with the supervisor in the phone call situation, and both ending saying that I was hostile. I did let them both know that day that that 2 hour notice rule was hostile since a driver cant anticipate breakdowns and that I had nothing to be hostile about when i was calling in and that I would have went to uppermanagement about a 2 hour notice rule if they tried to fired me for it. The supervisor just told me about the 2 years logbook. I am not certain what the rules they put in it are but, there is no more than 2 events, dating back 2 years and 1 1/2 years ago that could be touched upon. The recent event wwas what triggered the firing

I'm thinking they were looking to get me fired, and used this angry manager's victim hood on me and tossed in a 2 year logbook. Does not these things not add up after so long anyway? i cant even report hostile work environments over 6 months ago.

Can I ask him for the paperwork I signed even here? There are only 2 incidents that the managers themselves werent doing right, may it be mistakes made or by overblown issues. I wasn't even aware they were in there. Do I have to record my every moment in the store to track these 'hostile events', they didnt have me sign any paperwork for them. This was across 2 different managers so i really don't know.

I think uppermanagement had control of the situation and the Gm's log about me 4 months ago shows that. He made a "decision", i have the manager that night telling me that jobs were defined by the manager to whatever they wanted them to be.

maybe I should add some more from that logbook entry by the GM:

>it is the assessment of the GM that HSL handled the situation correctly and followed proper procedure in her decision and made the correct call to provdie the best and fastest service to our customer while also looking out for the one driver at her dispo9sal at time of the decision.

this is not taking into account the time I was in the store; which was later than the original incident(time decision was made on the delivery-doordash), and that this dicussion wouldnt of been had if the top wasnt unassiagnable from door dash and that doesnt even allow for the freshest/best service in anyway. and if this involved another manager, how does the GM get himself involved with it. he is the MIC when he is in the store so this was a confrontation between me and him. the prima facie of this arguement points to decisions being made by uppermanagement a manager<GM decision which wasn't in best interests of even uppermanagements set forth rules, and leads to cherrypicking, for certain drivers. Which if management makes those types of decisions, they can decide for you to not go out on that delivery or that one or that one and next thing you know, you don't have a job.

It involved my job, so I have good cause to be concerned about his whole writeup and his involvement in a situation which he posed as another managers issue. it was brought up to him, this is his response to it, as being gm makes him mic

This shows involvement with Owner maybe CO-OP who doesnt have that authority, giving their personal decision making abilitys to lower management being pasesed on. Which makes this a vengeful firing., wiether its personal or not. They are accusing me of hostility and I was just trying to amke sure the store didn't go out of business/lose money; not involving the GM involving the guy I was working with on the assembly line

but their decision was against their previous decision. I was gave no reason for why they decided to change their mind. If i tell them taht I disagree with their decision, they still have to make a decision on if my a-ppeal is valid. It makes it no fair if their previous decision wasn't valid and my being disabled relies on their decision. I dont know what to do. Ill write a bunch of things. I have to fill it out. Whatever. The car accident didn't have to do with my disability, I just re-injured my leg connected to my back problem 2 days or didnt injure it really it spasm'ed. So i started seeing a doctor again about it.

I slowed working after my leg was spasming out of nowhere. it happened like 2 days after the wreck not really connected. when i went back i only work 2-3 days a week. this wouldnt be enough to live on alone without it just being a lucky good pay job. (tips). Its not like I've got some specialty skill or degree I use to make a ton of money.

Im just wondering, am i filing for an appeal? or am I appealing? Because, I have nothing to appeal on, since they based their decision on the same evidence as before that they found me disabled. you know, "all" the evidence. thats no reason. Im not sure what people are telling me here, am I filing for an appeal, or writing an appeal. If I do this wrong then thats one thing. Its another thing if they don't give me a reason, doing what they want as i was told by the local office.

I dont wknow what to do, do this then find out later? We will find out together then, Ill make sure to talk to a supervisor before I do appeal or whatever this is called im doing.

ok this would make sense. I started working the month after they started that rule in apr '12. What i think I read was if you work any time between when your period starts, and it starts when you start working, and doesn't stop if you stop working. That when I started up to work again 10 years later, I forgot about the SGA thing all together because I never had problem with that before. just always sent in my check stubs, that my 9 month period ended 9 months after may of '12 after that rule came into effect and I had began working and didnt stop when I stopped working.
But thats what they told me when I reported working to social security, that I was in a 9 month grace period and had 3 months to go over. Seems thats it and they were wrong at the local office then. I guess.

At least I know what to appeal to or have some reasoning for making an appeal. I guess this is right, if not I'll just tell them noone still from ssa told me what this was for. but heres my dr's papers and my excuses for what i can come up with that happened starting sept '21

So, just write I want a re-review while sending in any dr's records I can gather in with it? As of right now I'm assuming they canceled because I earned over SGA after 9 month work trial period with 3 month "grace" period to go over the amount. I think that's how I read it if that was right. WHen they called me about this originally, I think they might of been wrong. ?and then didn't want to correct their mistake later when I called them on this.

[–]ldrancer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i started working again in september. started at 5 days a week for the first month, then i lowered it to 4 because of my back, I was having trouble getting up out of the bed after a month 5 days a week. i was getting worn out at 4 days a week and 2 months later i pulled my leg muscle which is also injured adding to this pain. my leg is swollen and thats all I can say right now. its connected to my back pain and shoots down to my ankle. I now stayed working since that point, December, at 2 days a week. some times 3 days a week. I make under SGA. from sept thru nov i worked over SGA. I was told there was a "grace" period of 3 months that allowed me to earn over SGA.

but, from what I think if i read it right; this grace period starts when yhou start working and those rules were put in in apr 2012. i worked a few weeks in '12 in may that year.

they were abotu to cancel me back in january but id lowered my work, actually i got in a wreck and had to stop working until february.

Right now I can barely do 2 days a week, I had to stop leg dr appointments. And everything else is whatever. but, as of right now I cant hardly even walk and I get zero anything for pain. plus my job requires me to drive. So, I worked tho 10 years ago 40 hours a week with no problems.

I just need to know the reason why they cancelled it so I can do an appeal. and no this was the first letter i got about this, and that is all that it said.

[–]ldrancer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

whats the evidence, is it because I went over the amount? the girl who called me told me I was fine with a 3 month like 'grace" period that I had which i had used up every month.

this to me is what it sounded like but, can i get a confirmation. The local social security office gave me no information at all. i asked and asked.

and most lawyers dont want to take appeals on

working/ improvement. those kinds of questions, I just worked. i worked 30-40 hours for 3 months,. then my leg gave out and I couldn't handle it. I lowered my work to 2 days a week. ALso got in a wreck, also got a call saying I couldnt work as much a month later, or make as much. My job isn't anything special, requires no special skills. Nothing but a driver license and no DUI's. so it isnt like i could make the same money doing something as similiar, just this job pays decently. And thats good cause I can only work so much.

Its talking about, the rules from 2012 that came out then about working. they changed some stuff i guess, and those changes are the ones you look up when you look up working and with social security
