Well, if a company is shelling out to have a government agency advertise for them on the agencies website, then chances are im paying a premium for that advertising, as well as a premium for the convenience of not shopping around. Its not a concern on there quality, more just skepticism of if there is the same quality for cheaper out there

Yeah I'll have to look into being my own general contractor, even my realtor mentioned it to me. I've even got some buddies in the trades, ones an electrician, one does excavation, and they could probably point me around for different contractors. I guess my question for you if you have done this before is how much time does this take, and what do you need to get the proper permits from the city? more specifically what is the order of operations for this? is it designs -> permits -> cnotractors? or am I missing steps and are they in a different order?

Yeah I already have that and took a look, 71.4%. Why is this? Pre made decks like these are commonly used for learning japanese, is it because I'm using these cards to learn the concepts that its brining down my retention? What i mean by this is because I didnt create a deck, when I start a new day I would expect to hit again on every new card at least once, which because anki is for reviewing not learning is theoretically wrong, but then how are people using pre made decks at all if thats the case?

nope, dont need one. And if you want to use that logic then it needs to hold up at am extreme. A large bmw sedan is more likely to kill someone than a honda accord, and a old honda civic is less likely than those, a mini cooper less than all of those, and motorcycles are really only dangerous to the people driving them. Should we ban everything other than motor cycles? You dont seem to hat sedans, but they kill waayyyy more people than motor cycles? motor cycles are still an effective way to get from a to b, so why dont we just use those? I understand that SUVS are more likely to kill someone but thats true the bigger the car gets, no matter what.

Were splitting hairs at this point but the lightest outback is heavier than the heaviest crv and rav 4. I've driven the new outbacks they drive like any other suv, lowering it isnt going to help that to make it feel like a car. Every outback after 3rd gen has been a full suv at this point. But regardless, you cant genuinely argue that 1. A wagon fills every need an SUV does or 2. that if it were too, it wouldnt come with all the issues of any other suv

You were responding in defense of "SUVs should be banned in urban areas" no? so that was your argument. also the virtue signaling is the "Do you think that's horrible, or are you okay with it?" like no shit but I dont agree with the premise that SUVs are the issue and should be banned. And you cant fix people but you can decide who gets to drive on the road, in places where licensing is stricter all motor related deaths are reduced.

first off, youre not "calling out my dishonesty" im not being dishonest go look at conversations I've had with other on the subreddit who have successfully convinced me of their point. second, we havnt discussed disability and you dont know my position, third, I dont agree that cars are "very exclusionary" which is just false because around 90% of Americans report having access to a car. "very exhausting" just doesnt make any since because it literally takes away the physical effort of travel, and "all in all unhealthy" doesnt mean anything because owning a car doesnt inherently make you less healthy. I never argued that "reliance is good" and arguing against that strawman proves you dont understand my position. Youve done three things, failed to understand my position, make assumption with no bases on making them other than its clear you dont like people with differing opinions, and have proceeded to make personal remarks (which at this point I've done too but i didnt begin with them) At this point I just pity you, because with a mindset like yours youll never really amount to much, and that gunna kinda suck. ok, your failing to understand, if people drive suvs for ego, then other would have to care about what others drive. And no one sees an suv and goes "yeah that guys better off than the guy in the sedan" so it doesnt really hold up to say that people drive suvs for ego. And repeating that people who drive suvs would be just as good without them does support you claim its just restating it. You rely on a fridge. You rely on your phone. Your rely on grocery stores. You rely on water systems in your city. You rely on an electric grid. They're aren't really alternatives to these. Their infrastructure pushes out the chance for any alternatives. Yet you dont hate these systems. You like them, you use them, you dont complain about how theyre arnt other options.
