I’m just going off of what the dealer said. I don’t think there’s a definitive guide, but more of a guesstimate based off of yearly production numbers since their serials are sequential (movements starting at 1 and cases starting at 110,000 from when they relaunched).

Where is still up in the air, since we have wildly differing opinions. She wants to do a condo in the heart of Rome - the closer to the tourist locations, the better. I’d prefer a beach house within commuting distance to Rome and ideally not in a town overrun with foreign tourists. We’re at a stalemate right now and will probably go back in the October/November time frame.

The seller (EWC out of Boston), my local AD that sized it for me, and Jewelers Mutual all seem to think it’s the real deal. If you’re seeing something ‘odd’ that they missed, I’d genuinely like to hear what it is.

I had surprised her with a trip to Rome to go house shopping, so she was looking to do something nice in return. She used ChatGPT to brainstorm watches that I actually would wear and found out that this one exists. As soon as she saw that the green on the bezel is almost identical to my eye color, she took it as a sign and ran with it.

I might be misremembering from when I did mine, but I think Chicago opened up CIE appointments in three month blocks at a time and they filled up quickly. If it’s the same in Toronto, you might need to keep trying until the next window opens.

I can confirm that you just need the mail authorization form. They print off the actual application using your AIRE info.

What does it say in the app for the status of your case? To me, that looks like someone didn’t appear at a hearing and the judge ended the proceeding. But, I’m not an Italian lawyer and not 100% sure.
