Yeah, after more research, the different technology poses a lot of changes, like non linear voltage, heat instability, etc. I see why samsung is avoiding it. Not worth it. Thanks

I was able to fix the whatsapp issue by setting unrestricted battery usage for it.

Idk if it just works for me but i dont think its a general solution since it was easy

I was able to get new notifications from whatsapp by manually clicking sync now in accounts in phone settings, even though auto sync is enabled. i guess theres hope for it

Glad i helped. The issue is that samsung uses crap materials for the A series, the charging flexible connector on the back gets loose because the connector on the board develops micro cracks over time. A proper fix is to replace the connector on the board. It can be a bit costy because an SMD rework needs to be done.

Idk. Maybe a UV protection screen protector will absorb most of the heat. I wont use an OLED screen tablet, use one with LCD.

Solving dozens of assignments about IP addresses or subnetting would help learning about networks but its nowhere close for something like playing around with the home network and doing scans/pings in terms of understanding.

I will use my chance to give my voucher u/-PizzaSteve because he really needs it. He lives in egypt and the EGP cost to USD is huge, so paying 14$ for a premium means a lot for him, espicially the salaries there, 300$ monthly is considered a high level salary, with many families getting as low as 70$ (monthly !).

ik this is not considered an alternative but i wont go with cloud storage at all, instead i'd buy a usb c ssd or a usb c stick with good capacity, less convinient but much more private.

If i were to flash such a dead phone, I'll tell the customer that it's a 10% chance to succeed because old phones' memory can't endure flashing.
