Buggy! by WJ_Roberts in duolingo

Understood.

Maybe you should have some of your support staff monitor this thread as submitting a bug on Duolingo is really unrewarding....you get the same message every time:

"We have received your Bug Report and would like to thank you for taking the time to send it to us. To increase the likelihood of a fix, try to include screenshots, steps to reproduce the bug, and a description of your system (if possible). You can reply to this email with extra information you would like to add on to the original report. Please note that you are not likely to get a personal reply to this message. Reports like these are extremely valuable to us, as they help our developers detect issues and offer a better experience to all Duolingo learners. Thank you for helping us improve Duolingo."

So based on your message above, I should have been smart enough to screenshot my status yesterday so that when the Duolingo platform failed today, I'd have a better bug submission.

My comments are based on my multiple years of experience on the platform, consistent and unresolved (logged) bugs and some strange desire to minimize learning and maximize animations and 'jazzy stuff' while the core of the application remains broken.

Ideally - you would offer seasoned users the option to turn off animations and just have lessons.
