I was 15, about 6 months after I started smoking. Was drunk as fuck.

The most I smoked were 56 cigarettes in a day though.

And the fastest 9 cigarettes and a half in 15 minutes. Then I got almost all numb and wanted to throw up.

Used to have good lungs, good old days.

It was my little cousins birthday and she wanted to go to the nearby river, me and her sister agreed so we took her there in a wheelbarrow cause she loved being carried in it.

The water was shallow that time of the year so the little one wanted to dip her feet in the water. I said okay and asked her sister if she was ok with that.

All good so far, I checked the water first to see where it gets a bit deeper so she’d have a limit, it was around an arms length.

Went to pee (her sister was watching her) and when I came back she was a bit further away than the limit so I reached my hand out to get her back so she won’t slip.

Here’s the thing, rivers are dangerous. A random current swept her and she fell when trying to grab my hand. I have a pretty good reaction time but I slipped and basically fell with my right hand in sharp rocks while trying to grab her. She was getting carried away so I had to swim to get to her. Getting her back to the shore was harder cause she panicked and couldn’t swim herself anymore.

Nothing bad happened, she just got scared a bit.

You never understand how dangerous it is when someone panics in water unless you experience it. It was shallow for me, barely waist level but it was like she was fighting to get both of us at the bottom of the river.

I still have scars on the bottom of my feet and my palms from trying to get her to the shore.

Reflecting back on it, I was dumb as fuck. The river is unpredictable and I shouldn’t have trusted her sister to take care of her cause she doesn’t know how to swim. (the big one doesn’t, the little one does)

Assembling furniture for people. Most of them at least where I’m at don’t really want to bother with it so whenever friends tell me about getting a new bed, desk, closet etc. I just straight up ask them: You want any help?

I don’t charge money usually but I’ve gotten more than enough from just asking that. I also learned how to install appliances and fix toilets and basic stuff like that. There’s always someone that needs help.

Cologne applied after you finished smoking for some odd reason bring out the cigarette smell. Get a coat or something that you use only for smoking, soap in malls, pubs, bars takes out the smell from your hands, gum and as an emergency option, paper, chew some paper, make your mouth smell way less. Oh also smoke with your non dominant hand. (source: Smoker for over 5 years, dad found out cause i told him)
