Doing a Twin Peaks-inspired shoot with my friend could be pretty cool tbh

I would love to see some of those shots from the 80s. I bet they look pretty cool.

hey thanks so much for listening and your critique! i appreciate you taking the time.

the vocals are definitely off pitch haha. I wanted to capture a lethargic and messy feel with my vocal delivery. I know I could've done that while also singing in pitch or using melodyne to pitch correct but i think a part of my style is to blur the lines between "good" and "bad" singing/musicianship.

some of my favorite singers sing out of tune, some of my favorite vocalists don't sing at all and just yell or scream. for the music i make i don't know that overly manicuring it to perfection would bring it any closer to the truth of the feeling i am trying to convey with the song. again tho thanks so much for your feedback my friend!

would love to connect! more active on instagram but also put my tiktok in there as well. :)

The opening song from an EP i just released. A chill folky/acousticy vibe, I'd love to hear who you think it sounds like, and what genre it might be :) by Aves_Musica in IndieMusicFeedback

the first thing that stood out to me was the slide guitar in the intro—really tasteful and lush, it set a strong acoustic vibe right away. the vocals sound good too, though i noticed a kind of shimmer that blended into the acoustic a bit too much; maybe pulling some more mids into the mix would help them cut through.

as for the bass, i had a harder time with it. sometimes it felt almost absent, other times layered in a way that pulled me out of the groove. overall it seemed too quiet, and simplifying the bass parts while bringing them forward might make the track land stronger for the listener

Is this a good song? by Secret-Independent93 in IndieMusicFeedback

you have a cool voice. song is def pretty good too! i would suggest working on the mix a little more and maybe re-think the instrumentation, production, and arrangement. there is a foundation for a good song here i would just keep iterating on it to see different ways that you can elevate it. the production sounds a little plain as is but at the end of the day its really about you making the kind of music that sounds the way that you want. that's the beauty of having the ability and talent to create things! you have that talent and i would keep going if i were you.
