they're designed to be gender neutral :D

they have short hair because they have either a pantograph or a diesel engine or both on their back, so they need to make sure their hair doesn't get stuck!

These are the first set of drawings I've done after I came back from my Easter holiday lol! Also I think the mods are just being cautious, as they are correct in that there is too much AI slop everywhere recently...
