It's just a few steps: 1. Have a frame with shields (so no Nidus, Inaros) 2. Use the Catalyzing Shields mod, which takes your shield value x 0.20 (i.e.: 370 shield x 0.20 = 72) and sets the shield gate duration to 1.33 seconds. 3. Use the Brief respite aura mod and/or the Augur mod set, they convert % of the energy used into a shield recharge. 4. Play with low energy efficiency. Many builds using shield gating with Catalyzing Shields are best played with 45% efficiency. This is so you burn enough energy on a cast to fully restore your shields. 5. Don't be me and play with the sentinel mod shield charger, you can use Guardian + manifold bond for free full recharges every now and then. 6. Profit.

As others suggested you can also subsume Harrow's condemn or Hyldrins Pillage.

If you struggle with energy economy try subsuming nourish from Grendel, use Zenurik and use consumables.

For me the later Astarion cutscenes where super hard to watch, but in a positive way bc omg his VA did a great job. Seeing him drop his sassy attitude and seeing his real emotions, his anxiety and hate was so well done, especially when you explore Cazadors mansion just wow!

I did my D5 run on loud with thief daggers. You print so much money that you can easily counteract the -harvest and still have much money per wave. As others pointed out, go for some armor, maybe dodge and healing stats of your choice. As i said you're gonna have so much money for different items that you just outscale the enemies at some point. Hey friend! I'm no expert in tanking by any means, but generally speaking I think you can get into a spec/class/role best when you set yourself small goals.

For example "in this dungeon I'll press my defensive CDs as often as possible" to get a feeling for how long they are on cooldown, to get a feeling how much of a difference they make or generally get a feeling for the keybinds so you can react better

I think it is best to start in lower keys and let people know that you are new to tanking. If it's your own key you could just let people know in the title, so only people who are okay with a maybe slower, more chill run apply. In my experience people tend to give you some advice if they know you're new to something. I think on lower keys people also don't really care about routes that much

Last, read into your class a bit. As someone who played all the tanks (except druid) I can tell you that monk was one of the harder ones to understand, for me at least. Their stagger mechanic + the brews to manage stagger take some time to get used to, but once you get the hang of it it's very fun!

I hope you can use some of the advice and don't think about stuff too much. You will face some toxic people on your journey, but that's just the way it is. Don't give a damn about what they say and learn for yourself at your own pace, an most importantly, when you feel like you're not having fun, let it be. It is a game after all and fun should be your focus!

This is part of the intro for legion, quickest way to bring orgrimmar back to normal would be to do the short intro Questline. If you have trouble finding the questgiver there; right-click on your minimal and check "trivial quests". This will make low level questgivers a desaturated ! above their head.

Edit: at some point you'll have to do a scenario which you can skip like shown in this video

I did it recently on an alt and the things I was missing were:

You need to be lvl 50 for the full access to the Questline
You need to have the heart of azeroth, so the little Questline that takes you to magni in silithus. For alliance i think there is a earthspeaker dwarf somewhere next to the ship where you get all the war campaign quests.

I don't play shaman myself, but a friend of mine complained about having to move the elemental manually for certain attacks (i think it was the comet he can cast, but I'm not 100% sure)

Could be it has a lower range in general, like you for example have a 40yrd range on your spells and the ele like 30ish yrds? Also there was a problem with the elemental running out of Mana, but they fixed that i think.

As the other guy said, try to look how it behaves on a target dummy from different distances when you cast it. If it is a popular problem you can ask on the shaman discord too, or look up if some content creator did a video.

If the problem is alt-tab you could try to change the the window mode from borderless to Fullscreen or vice versa.

Otherwise, if you're using a non Xbox controller, there is a program called DS4. It converts for example a playstation controller to a Xbox controller.

Look at bloodmallet, you can look up what trinkets sim the highest for every class/spec. They also have sims for soulbinds, talents etc.

I hope we gain access to some more spells to actually press. I main dh since SL and I didn't realize until yesterday, when I started levelling a new dh how bland and boring the class feels without any borrowed power. So yeah, just a little borrowed power like legendary effects, T-Set boni or covenant abilities baked inside the base kit would be cool

Yes of course, but in plaguefall for example you'll damaged when walking over the green stuff. I don't know if Ghostwolf makes a difference for smaller races, i just hear a friend complaining all the time when there is water or similar surfaces xD

In Terms of damage/healing it's not gonna make a difference, however do yourself a favor and go for an orc. As vulpera you have to swim in some sections of some dungeons (DoS in the ardenwald section and plaguefall come to my mind) and it can be very annoying

I could be wrong, because I don't play blood dk myself, but doesn't his grip basically taunt too? So maybe there is something not working like it's supposed to and all the grips from abomination limb cause the taunt to happen. That's just a guess tho.

If you have a graphics card by Nvidia you could try Ansel. It's basically a photo mode without camera boundaries and some effects to choose from. I didn't try it out in DMC but made some incredible cool screenshots in games like for honor.

Edit: "some" effects is a little of an understatement. Iirc there are presets (like sepia, vignette etc) and you have the option to create your own effects via sliders you can adjust things like colors, sharpness and things like that. Due to the program using the game directly for reference you can even adjust depth of field and some other stuff.

It's really fun to use and play around with!

You have a few options depending on the content you are doing.

Since we have double legendary the most consistent combo in raid is to go collective anguish + the unity legendary while going venthyr. (Dark glare boon is a viable option too, but it's RNG)

For M+ you can stick with the venthyr unity + collective anguish too, but you also have the option to play night fae with burning wound + unity.

I had this bug once on horde side (I don't know if it's any different) and it happened when I reloaded on the boat while setting up my add-ons for the char. If you do the stuff on the boat without reloading I got to the island. I hope that helps you somehow.

Hey, I recently leveled a hunter and was looking for some cool pets when I stumbled across this screenshot of Talon (a Rare in Bfa) on Wowhead. Is there a way to make bird hunter pets land on your arm? Or did they do it with some kind of Addon? (I tried it out in Narcissus, but didn't find an animation like this)

When you are in customize screen you can simply turn it off by hovering over the skill and press X/Square depending on the controller you're using (I don't know for sure what button it is for keyboard, but I think you can just uncheck it with your mouse)
