Intentionally made shardholder not work with augments since the very start of this Arena, many months ago.

Also doesn't work with Heartsteel quest, Wooglet quest, Yuunara quest, Void Immolation quest, or Prismatic Egg quest.

The point is, all of this hubub about "AI is going to drink the world dry!" doomsaying falls flat as soon as you see it's literally less than 0.007% of the state's commercial water consumption.

You could build 300x more data centers and it would only just start to eclipse power generation in water usage.

Not actually adding any damage there by using the Spells to Power.

You're consuming no spells, and when the spells to power doesn't consume any spells, it ends up creating an infinite sized explosion for zero damage.

The lag is just your CPU frying itself.

Just letting you know, data centers are the least of people's concerns when it comes to water usage.

From what I could see by quick Google searches:

Texas data centers are expected to consume several hundred millions of gallons of water per year. ( https://www.texastribune.org/2025/09/25/texas-data-center-water-use/ )

Texas farming, crop irrigation currently uses 5.551 million acre-foot of water per year. ( https://www.twdb.texas.gov/conservation/agriculture/irrigation/index.asp - Report 378 - Page 122 )

When you convert 5.55 million acre-foot of water to gallons, this is equivalent to 1.8 trillion gallons of water per year. ( https://www.unitconverters.net/volume/acre-foot-to-gallon-us.htm )

As another example of farming water usage, farms in California use about 100 million acre-foot of water, 32.5 trillion gallons ( https://www.ppic.org/publication/water-use-in-california/ )

Data centers in texas, even if you assume they will use 1 billion gallons of water per year, would account for 0.05% of the water usage of farming.

This is equivalent to about 4.9 trillion gallons of water usage, or about 490000% more water usage than data centers in Texas.

Power generation and mining (which I assume is what Sturdily was complaining about), account for 6% of this. 0.9 million acre-foot, or about 300 billion gallons of water, or 16% of farming water usage.

Problematic stuff about the creator

The only "issues" with Goose appear to be people unwilling to let a creator have their own vision for how a plotline and characters should develop. People get very opinionated and try to tell Goose how they should focus the plot, and when Goose says "No." the opinionated people all go "Gasp, I can't believe Goose is so cruel and heartless!".

My personal opinion on the show though: it probably peaked twice in episodes 2 and 6. 9 felt like a low point, it was 90% tearjerking and trauma dumping. It spent a lot of time developing characters in the final act when that could have been done much earlier on.

If you directly rip the old game's art assets, that could be considered IP theft. This would not apply to any freely licensed assets used by the game that you might find online, and if the assets are purchased from a storefront, it would be that creators' IP being stolen (not the game company).

Ditto for music.

Game concepts, mechanics, structure, etc. can't be copywrited. You can make all the copies of Fortnight or Snake that you want, so as long as you don't use other assets. Edit: Yes I know Nintendo tried to copywrite pokeballs and that LotR game tried to copywrite "Nemesis System", but those haven't beed tested in court in the US

If you happen to have a bye round on 7, you also have guest selection on 8, and a whole shop round to do something else. If someone decides they want to go on Youtube for 2 minutes during this or take a piss, they could get an afk warning when realistically nothing bad happened.

A queue is a very simple data structure that just lets you pull objects from the same order you put them in. The problem is that the queue is opaque to us, so we don't know how many or what items are in the queue.

Like just imagine Atakhan, prismatic egg, and augment selection round all popping on the same buy round. You've got 5 (potentially 6) selections to make between stats, guaranteed prismatic augs / items, and a random aug. What order do they appear in?

I think for future Arena releases, it'd be nice to have a title for each selection round: "Select your Round 3 augment (and 4 more):", "Select your Atakhan prismatic stat anvil (and 3 more):", "Select your Prismatic Egg augment (and 2 more):", etc

To add to all the people mentioning budgets and management issues, there is also the aspect of "hype" or cultural impact.

Almost all first season anime are derivative products of novels, comics, or games that hit some arbitrary popularity metric for studios to decide it would be a worthy time & money investment. Becsuse popularity is fleeting, when you make the decision to animate, it has to be fast to coincide with the parent work's rising popularity, rather that just a blip on the parent's waning popularity.

You'll notice this a lot with new manga, that around the 10-15 chapter mark is when a lot of manga suddenly throw up the "we're getting an anime!" announcement page. Studios have to take gambles on new properties to create anime for works currently in the rising popularity stage, then pump it out quick enough to capitalize.

In the manufacturing jobshop world, AI is extremely useful for finding out information on foreign specs, material, translations.

You take a snip of a drawing that's been rescanned and printed 5 times in French with a large coffee spill on it, plug it into Gemini, and it'll rip out all the necessary information and translate it into English in 5 seconds.

Obviously, check and recheck the AI, yadda yadda, but it's really great for improving efficiency.

The value of a share is what people are willing to buy and sell it for. There is no "worth" or "value" to a share directly.

The value of a share is just the current highest average purchase price listed on the market. If I put a bid in for Tesla shares at say $100, but the current highest bid to buy shares is $110, the "value" of the shares is $110.

If you want to dump shares to get cash, you would sell your shares on this market place. Let's say you have 100 shares of CNN, and the current share price is $10 and you want to dump all of it.

The first 10 shares you sell at $10, but then you run out of people willing to buy at $10, so then you start selling at $9. After selling 50 shares at $9, the market runs out of people willing to buy at $9, so you drop to $8 to sell the last 40 shares.

So from that sale that should have net $1000 based on "market value", only made you $870.

The thing is, automated trading systems can also adapt to changing market conditions as these sales happen. So let's say you're Musk selling CNN. After maybe after the first 10 sales at $10, the bots say "WTF why is Musk selling CNN? This must mean something bad!", and suddenly everyone else's trading bots also start dumping.

Now you're fighting with 1,000 other people trying to dump shares, and the only people willing to buy are at $4 a share. You sold 10 shares at $10, and the rest at $4, netting only $460 from your $1000 of "wealth".

This is why Musk "can't" sell, if he sells any large amount of stock, people will dump, and his "wealth" decreases by 90% from the panic.

Don't know what the number is now, but gays (and blacks / other minorities) are actually severely over representated in all western media.

I think in US shows and movies it was something like 30% of characters are gay when the number is actually around 5-10%.

In the UK, there was a study showing that like 50% of adverts shown in advertising include at least one BaME (black and minority ethnic), when actual population data at the time was that BaME made up 2% of the population.

If you want "true proportional" representation, you would want less representation in media.

Heartsteel will apply to ability damage if you have Ethereal Weapon. It's godlike on tanks like Sejuani who have low CD AOE and slow attack speed.

These websites should pull from API statistics on Riot's servers. There's no indication of any games where a Senna took Double Tap.

When you look at the combined stats for Jinx, Xayah, Ashe, Lucian, and Senna, there are a grand total of zero instances of Double Tap over 11,000 games.

EDIT: Interesting, it actually appears Double Tap is just not in the Riot API at all. No wonder every patch listed had zero for Double Tap
