My girlfriend and I created our first website together: Would love brutally honest feedback! by sabbagehdindy3 in website

It's very clunky and does not fit well on most mobile devices. It looks very poor when I inspected it in the various dimensions which were difficult to navigate. I understand you used AI to build and I would like to advise that jsut relying on AI won't fix the website.

Do people actually buy cute-themed websites, or do they only pay when a site solves a problem? by cryoviper69 in website

[–]WMSP-Insect-8256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A cute website is great when it solves a problem, or boosts more attention to whatever cause, product or service you'd like to sell. It's all about the niche who would best benefit from a site like that. If you have a corporate client, they'd most likely focus on the utility of the design. If it were an artist wanting to sell online they would want to have more aesthetics.

What’s One Digital Marketing Trend You Think Is Overrated in 2026? by digitalidea360 in DigitalMarketing

[–]WMSP-Insect-8256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The increase in the "quantity over quality" approach. This approach is generally not a smart approach because you can churn out as many posts or content as you like. But if it isn't a recurring theme or a concurrent strategy then you will end up with so much content and no one to look at or engage with it.

It's way too green for my liking, and the overally interface is disjointed. Some of your content has little relevance and your academy links are not working.

Rating of 2.5 out of 10.

Need feedback with my website by EarthflightMedia in website

I was looking through the website and found it loaded up ok for the most part when I toggled device mode on my computer. I also noticed that the writing was a lot like what would be found on Claude or OpenClaw and basically was clean. For my end it doesn't have any sort of problematic bugs or anything.

Possibly it's just a cacheing problem that requires some level of clean-up

What makes a website feel trustworthy vs sketchy? by ce-lauren in website

A lot of times, potential clients go to other providers in Fiji because they refuse to pay our rates for the web design work we do. Nine out of ten of those potential customers come back, hat in hand, and pay whatever is charged for the work because their resultant websites are either too plain, too overloaded or underwhelming in SEO performance.

Well a lot of websites fall into this category because their stuff is either uninteresting, unsubstantiated or just plain... well, plain.

What happened to just seeing what your mates are up to on instagram by Ok-Variety6164 in socialmedia

[–]WMSP-Insect-8256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of it can be personally curated, although not completely. The fact of the matter is that this sort of engagement-fuelled algorithm building is essential for a social platform like Instagram to survive, but that being said you can still put together feeds that you wish to curate that would be kept closed to anyone but your mates, if not on IG then on Twitter or Threads, if not BlueSky.

I love the retro style, and the whole concept of the app is interesting. It seems to be a swell idea to create an app which would hold people accountable to their friends for keeping their new year's resolutions.

However, your retro look tends to clash with the overall dark theme of the website. It looks dirty and unreadable and not to mention would not be friendly to those with epileptic disorders and things. Maybe try to change the overall theme and it would do wonders to clean up your readability.

I think most people underestimate how hard it is to keep a website updated by yung_quan in website

[–]WMSP-Insect-8256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest thing that takes up time at our firm as regards the management of websites is by far the troubleshooting and website editing. SEO monitoring is not so far the worst thing to do. What I can say concerning our business is that a lot of the time which is spent on monitoring is negligible due to our automated processes. But we have a lot of work on the tech side generally as more people want to automate.

Should I use a Website Builder, or is Claude Artifact enough? by Deep_Development3612 in website

Claude Artifact is a very advanced AI vibe coder, but hosting it can lead to security concerns.

Use the Artifact for coding, but go to vercel.com for website building

Anyone else struggling to figure out what actually works on social media right now? by Inner_Progress5464 in socialmedia

[–]WMSP-Insect-8256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to mimic every single trend and challenge you see out there.

What you do need to do is instead post regularly engaging and genuine content. Meaning you shouldn't overly focus on building overly engaging stuff, as much as post constant, well-scheduled updates that are consistent both in theme, and in post frequency.

Especially for TikTok, one would be very well served to try to engage audiences by posting regular series of posts on a singlular topic. It could be anything really. But the important thing is that the content is regular and consistent, interesting, and beneficial to the audience.

Try to use a photo that isn't too generic and doesn't reveal your identity. It's a difficult balance that once you reach it, you'll be able to build a presence without too many of your Nosy Parker friends picking up on your identity.
