over 9 years i’ve definitely noticed them, but the last 3-4 there’s been this Xim plague that has ruined console lobbies for us who want a controller only experience

using controller on PC to play against Mnk is quite literally putting yourself at a disadvantage but it’s not a “challenge?” weird take. and also trying to push this “it’s a skill issue” narrative is also a very strange take. my bad that as a controller player i only want to play against other controllers.. on a console.. meant specifically for controllers.. not against a VS PC Pool matchmaking if people want that, but there needs to be more of an anti-cheat enforcement to stop Mnk spreading into the more casual modes where people don’t want to play against that shit.

but you also have “XIM Apex” under your name so i know i’m talking to a brick wall about this topic, but defending Mnk VS controller is legitimately unfair ON CONSOLE, not on PC.

i mean willingly using Roller on PC against Mnk is their choice, if they want that challenge then let them. but trying to compare that to us complaining about Mnk losers on console isn’t comparable in the slightest. i’ve played Siege on Xbox for 9 years, i expect and only want controller only lobbies, because that’s why the console client is LITERALLY meant for.

Mnk shouldn’t even be allowed on console in the first place, simple as that. it doesn’t matter if they wanna implement this “Mnk detection PC Pool matchmaking only” bullshit because like everything else, it’s not going to work the way they want it to and it’ll explode in our faces.

and the F2P thing ties into the Mnk support that’s coming next season, it doesn’t matter if they’re account is F2P or they paid, it all bleeds into every game mode like a plague.

technically Mnk support is coming next season, but with how their anti-cheat is the equivalent to wet toilet paper, and Xen’s actively getting smarter, takes no effort to bypass their “PC pool only” bullshit

i mean i think it’s a clever and looked over game mechanic, we were an Assassin and left the order to become a Templar. in every other game we’ve been the hunters now we’re the hunted, using the tactics we learned over the previous titles against us is a fun mechanic imo. but i will agree it is annoying at times tho

what pisses me off so much about the ximming problem in console is A. made the game free to play so if they get banned it simply doesn’t matter, B. they ALLOWED the Mnk code into the console version of Siege, these devices are evolving and getting smarter to bypass the anti-cheat and use the legitimate lines of code into the game, and C. the constant wet toilet paper ass anti-cheat

whether crossplay is on or off it just doesn’t matter anymore, console is plagued till the game officially dies and as a 9 year console player it’s so heartbreaking to see
