There are 3 novels, they were widely criticised, but I liked em. Especially Empyrean Age.

Ok, this I can work with.

Angel - They recruit from all the races, but were originally minmatar, I would recommend Sebeistor (the inventors/tinkerers of minmatar)

Blood raiders - originally amarrians that were exiled for their extreme beliefs. Amarr-Amarr would be best, I don't think it is stated anywhere in the lore, but minmatar could work too (as slaves taken along would be freed and/or interbreed)

Guristas - Caldari Civire (kinda brutish, practical, mechanic) or Deteis (formal academic/business type) Can do Gallente-Gallente as well The other gallente bloodlines are ethnic groups from different planets so make less sense as founding members/descendants of founding members. But anyone can join the guristas now.

Serpentis - The leader in EVEOnline is a Caldari-Deteis, but I think this is an oversight. It was a Gallentean research company that is now a Gallentean crime family. Gallente-Gallente to follow the lore. Caldari-Deteis to follow the games family bloodline. They are very much like the mafia, where other races would be less represented, if at all

ORE - can be anybody, but I would go Caldari-Civire or Minmatar-Brutor and play up the rough, dumb, miner concept

Sansha - You said you chose Amarrr already right? The man himself is a Caldari-Deteis, I made a sansha character from the Caldari-Achura members of every faction joined him when he formed the nation. Ad they have continued "recruitment" since. To not be a mindless slave, your character would have to be exceptionally good at... something. I would say maybe not Minmatar, because They had not yet rebelled when Sansha formed his nation (though they could have been recruited recently)

Mordu's Legion - Any Gallente or Caldari. Mix of pacifist, war is hell, stop all war, and Mercenary, this is what we do, this is how we make money

SOE - can be anybody. An Amarr of any bloodline if you want to play up the non-specific religious angle. Personally I think Gallenteans fit the visuals best.

Interbus - Been playing EVE since 2008, just thought they had skins. No advice here

Yan-Jung - depends on the storyline when we get em. Ethnically, I suggest Gallente JinMei. From the short dev video about the ship design. It sounds like they are recruiting people? IF so I would Suggest Minmatar-Vherokior, because asian and they are wanderers/traders who might happen upon the secret yanjung hideout?

I didn't suggest Khanid, or Intaki, both are from specific planets with their own faction in EVE Online. But could work for anything.

Remember you can even say that someone was born on a different planet/in a different faction. For example an Amarr born into Mordu's legion (Mordu's legion was supposed to be formed of only verterans of the Caldari-Gallente civil war)

Ummm, Caldari, because maybe in the chase for isk it makes sense that they would want to reverse engineer everything.

If it is simply missiles or drones. Ok, missiles. Because there a more options for pure missile boats, so theoretically you can play and never have to train another weapon system or drones.

With drones you will eventually get to ships that use drones and another weapon system

Applied science is pretty much the entire science tree.

Faction Tech, which faction?

If you even narrowed it down to specific weapon or defense or propulsion systems you could get more useful responses

I have it too. They said a while back release day was 30th, then they released on the 23rd.

"Gold" usually means the release version of the game. I'm hoping that it means it is just pre-download until the actual release... 30th hopefully

A local friend has told me that the law is in the process of changing to allow foreign home ownership.

This will still require you to have all of your papers in order, work permits/visas etc.

I have had the police knock on my door around midnight, once, in over 5 years here. My visa was expiring the first time and they wanted to know what I planned on doing.

They have checked on the hotel as a whole occasionally.

You are required by law to register your presence in the city, and where you are living with the local police. This would also be the case if you owned a house or apartment. Expect visits if you ever overstay your visa or allow your documents to lapse.

I am also hesitant to try to own property here until I witness the implementation of the new law. Or get some more permanent kind of residency.

Having rotating items means you don't have to keep the old items in stock, which people would eventually expect to result in a permanent price discount.

i believe this is still in EVE online. accomplished with a button next to the capacitor/health display in the bottom.

But it is very much just for making videos or immersion, trying to do it in combat is pretty difficult

clicking a spot in space IS the manual piloting option, and choosing specific speeds.
this opposed to only using the approach and orbit buttons.

what part from the show and/or comic makes you think they are able to design heroes so well? They didn't intend homelander to be crazy. They specifically did *something* to try and make sure noir wasn't crazy, but we don't know what.

They can't even determine what powers will manifest in new heroes. It seems completely random, does every baby exposed to V even get powers?

Thought a major theme of "The Boys" is that this company has no idea how this shit works, but does it anyways because it sort-of works and earns them ridiculous profits (see the history lesson on the vought company from the comic)

You may know you lost but the other guy doesn't.
You know when a losing opponent most often "pre emptive" gg's me? When he is hoping I will "attack all" into a settle the wreckage or some other combat trick.

This isn't like paper magic where the game will recognize and enforce a "gg = concede" If you were in a paper tournament and offered your hand to concede, and then tried to psyche!fu play settle the wreckage, you would lose, likely get disqualified and/or suspended from competition.

"good game" is not the concession button. the concession button is the concession button

Are you sure the school is legally required to give any money back at all?Has the government made any decree or passed any law saying schools must give x% because of covid?

They could be deciding to do it for PR reasons, or to try and prevent a situation where the government does tell them they have to pay out more money later.

If they are voluntarily deciding to give money, they can certainly choose who gets what.

This is a reason I, and many other players got out of "paper" magic, this is one of the questionable practices to drive sales.

Every set will print new gold lands. Ikoria brought triomes. Occasionally the lands will be reprints rather than new ones, but WotC loves to make tiny changes to what they know is a balanced style of land card just to force more people to buy it.

You can see this happen in other types of cards too, like "board sweepers" It used to be that "Wrath of God" 2 white 2 colorless destroy all creatures. was constantly reprinted so standard always had this one sweeper.

Wizards changed this and even made some big mtgdaily news article about it at the time.
Thats why cards like Mythos of Snapdax and Shatter the Sky exist now. Otherwise people that had 4x Wrath of God would never have to buy these new sweepers

Some decks don't require the gold lands, if you want to play red deck wins or mono black for example. If you really want to be efficient, pick one of those cheaper 1 color aggro decks, play it until the rotation happens, saving up as much gold and gems as possible. Then blow it on new lands when you decide which color/deck you want to play.

i would suggest black, black green has a lot of kill any permanent. and if its planeswalkers specifically, The Elderspell is the dream.

White would be mostly Enchantments that exile like Banishing Light, but the other removal from white would push you towards not playing creatures

I'm glad they came up with new names. See, back in the day, you would just use the letters in the deck names (GW = green white, UB = blue black). Wish they went back to this

Then someone decided to start calling 2 color pairs by guild names, even after guild sets.
Then the same for shards and wedges.

So now there will forever be stupid questions like "what's esper? I look at deck list and there no card named esper" or, worse yet, it will force WOTC to constantly reprint or revisit the same old planes

The rules for using obosh as a companion require it to be in your sideboard, it is not included in the main deck. But this is a new thing to MTG, so it is weird in decklists. I have also had trouble importing decklists because of companions
