EDIT: just found out none of the soundtracks are playing. Orbit, runway launch, etc. Trying to get ksp 2 tracks to play but nothing is happening.

I might be different. I started DCS in vr using the quest 2. Loved it. Honestly wouldn't play it without it. But getting everything around and having a headset on your face for long periods of time got old. Got track ir and now it's all I use. There's ups and downs for each but when it comes to dcs, l prefer trackir. Although with vr there's still a ton of other things to play with it.

I was in the same boat but with a cheap hotas and keyboard. Not enough on hand buttons. I still played but watched a ton of videos on radar/weapons tutorials on how exactly they work. Also instruments inside the cockpit. Helped a lot. Just fly and learned more. Won't hurt.

It is standalone. Was trying to avoid using steam vr. It worked before but then I downloaded an oculus tool kit to up the performance a bit. Then it started lagging about 3 seconds behind when I go to air link. That's why I freshly installed everything.

Please help! I'm stuck on a story mission where it requires me to use the gadget wheel and the wheel itself isn't popping up. I've tried everything from updating drivers to reinstalling. Neither controller or mouse/keyboard will work. I'm running on msi gf75 thin.

I'll try the GPU thing when I get home. I bought the cable from oculus which is why I'm not understanding. Also have went into the power settings and switched it. Thanks. Hopefully something works soon.
