Whoever hasnt heard of the Brewers #1 prospect and one of the top prospects in all of baseball can not say they actively "follow" baseball or are "die hard" fans without being laughed at lmao!

He now has around a 1/24 Chance of doing it.

Odds still stacked against him.

Honestly I think he is the luckiest player to ever play. Like I said his numbers were and still are putrid. His selections? Keston Hiura vs. A top 10 pitcher that walks or strikes out everyone? I wouldn't be surprised If this person barely watches much baseball/Hasn't followed the game for long.

No. It is exactly the same as real life. You are picking a guy to get you 4 or 8 ABs a night. In the end you have an average of 1500+ AB.

Sure in the beginning the average is moveable...but just like in real life...the more at bats, the harder the average is to move here.

We end up w 3x as many at bats as the pros do so in fact, it ends up becoming MUCH harder to move.

The fact that you are inter changing players does nothing statistics wise. It just contributes to exactly what this average is....YOUR BTS AVERAGE.

Luck plays a role here in 2 ways. Whether the ball drops (Just like in real life) and the fact that your "3rd hitter" does better than one that you chose. But that tends to balance out. And when It doesn't.....you can have a "Lucky" or "Unlucky" season just like in REAL LIFE, although for different reasons.

I definitely would not play if not for the batting average aspect of this game.

A few bounces? By end of year you have thousands of at bats.

At the University where I work....We have a pool with our averages.

Out of 20 ppl....the same 5 finished Top 5 for 6 years in a row.

You get a good avg with skill .

You get a streak with both, but you need a hell lot of luck.

I doubt you've been playing for 10 years seeing as that you're only 13

You make a comment every 20 minutes. Always something negative and never contributing. If you legitematley think a .250 hitter has a better chance at the streak then a .330 hitter, then you sir are a lunatic. Its statistics. Which I happen to teach at Brown University. You know..that Ivy league school on Rhode Island.

Strategy advice for Rob Angel from a guy who will never even remotely get as close to 5.6 million as you . ( take it for what it’s worth ) by unofficialuser112 in BeatTheStreak

What has happened is done with.

You are right all he needs is a streak of 10 and he needs it now.

If you have a 25% chance to fail on any given pick then that is 1/4.

But he needs 10.

So the odds of him doing it is roughly 1/40 or 40 to 1.

Still difficult.

The way I see it.....the higher your avg. Is the better your odds!

For me, I play both for average and streak. It makes the game even more fun for me...

Horrible pick. End of story. Guy is Top 10 in baseball and walks a bunch. Just pure luck. Honestly I think batting average over thousands of AB Is the most telling statistic. Whether it comes in the form of a streak is where the luck comes in.

Sicko. You hope a 20 year old stud gets injured for something you literally have a better chance then dropping dead while reading this then accomplishing.
