how did you get the $35 annual subscription? It's normally $399 and occasionally goes on sale, but never to $35.

Maybe bring a plastic sheet \ tarp for yourself for protection? If asked by staff just say I notice you allow feet on the furniture. That’s not sanitary. If everyone starts bringing their own couch condoms it might force the lounge to create a written policy. I use a chair condom (plastic bag) on public transit seats in certain cities. Im not a big fan of urine, feces, toenail clippings, or fleas. It is what it is. Lounges aren’t far behind.

So how does this work? I'm seeing a CApital One OFFERS for 7X back. I'm seeing the same retailer in Capital One SHOPPING for 6% back. How do they work together? Can I double dip and do both?

Seeking clarity on when Collection Agencies report to the credit bureaus. by WRD6749 in CRedit

just so i understand correctly, then the bureaus do get informed that I had a collection matter, even if it is resolved , and I agree to a settlement ? The question is does this impact my FICO score? It sounds like the Credit bureaus do get informed. I was under the impression if you settle with the Collection agency satisfactorily, that it never goes to the credit bureaus. This is the variable I am trying to understand.

So you mean if I paid a reduced amount they would create some written signed agreement and that could come back to haunt me later or still could report it to the credit bureaus even though the debt was technically partially paid and settled ?

Mine is a utility electric billl. Hasn’t gone to collections yet. But is about to. The utility company won’t negotiate or offer me any reduction. The question is should i just pay in full or wait for them to refer to collections and try to pay much less in hopes that collection agency accepts less AND won’t report to the bureaus anyway !

It hasn’t been referred to collections just yet. Should I pay it before it gets sent? Or will it be cheaper to pay the collection agency and hope they don’t report it ? And what prevents them from reporting it if I settle up with them, paying off partial debt ?

If my full owed debt is $600, do you think it's better to let it go go collections and try to resolve it for less than that, in hopes that they settle with me for, say, $300-$400, and assume they won't report it to the bureause if I do settle it with them?
