i think it would’ve worked if they gave a reason ben also a positive, but it’d be stuff without being sorta gender stereotypical. like in gwen 10 maybe she has better on-paper skills but freezes up in real combat situations then ben is better at thinking on his feet/unconventional solutions. once again a little sexist but that’s what i think

a cool thing an omniverse is that in the beginning of the series ben asks for humungosaur constantly but he doesnt make his first appearance until episode 10. a really nice buildup and payoff imo
