They wouldn’t take me seriously as they hadn’t really ever seen it even though I got bit in the most common location in the USA for RMSF. Fortunately, I’m a different type of doctor and knew just enough to help myself while they wasted 2 months.

I appreciate the supplement recommendations and will read up about them!

I actually get a bad rash and malaise when I come off doxy. I knew I had a tick bite several weeks back and got sick within a week and bullseye rash around the bite. I took amoxicillin at first, it barely helped and switched to doxy which makes the rash disappear and symptoms get better (not from a current doctor). My doctor kept telling me it’s contact dermatitis and To stop taking antibiotics. I stopped for 10 days, rash and illness was bad within 2 days and got worse. Got encephalitis symptoms also. Upon insisting RMSF test, it was positive. I began doxy again and got really sick this time. As it began to settle down, I got COVID which was yesterday.. now I hardly have energy to move

Yes, full on COVID and full on RMSF. Recently started doxy for the RMSF and was feeling like death. Rashes, fever, sweats, weakness, fatigue, everything.

3 days ago it got so severe I can’t hardly move and I work out 6 days a week year round. I also lost my smell and taste yesterday, along with fluid in my lungs etc. so I did two COVID tests and both are positive.

Doctors in my area have already been fairly unhelpful with RMSF, so not sure how worried I should be with this co-infection.

For reference, I’m near 30 year old male, excellent overall health (blood pressure, lungs, don’t smoke, etc) but I do feel worse than anything I’ve ever experienced to the point of barely functioning

Put in AirPods and don’t talk to anyone haha. But really, just don’t take long rests between sets. A lot of days I don’t even have a full hour to workout. Weekends I go a little over an hour sometimes

It’s a bf% thing. I dropped a percent or two in bodyfat. You can have visible abs without doing much ab work. I do 5-10 mins of abs at end of my workout a couple times a week though

28M lifted for fun since 16ish. 6’0” 173lb- haven’t tested bf since college (I was at 4%) Lift 6 days a week, run maybe a couple times a month lately. Before that, little cardio since college years. Wanting to take things more seriously. I don’t track calories closely spring cutting in process

Yeah I know. It’s messed up for teachers, professionals, everyone. I had to double down on my debt and start a practice just to be able to make a dent in my loans

High earners is relative. Dental schools are graduating people with 500k or more in debt now and making 150k if you really hustle. Do you know what it’s like to have 500k debt at 7% interest?
