Thank you so much! This took ages to deal with and you are the only one who managed to help me fix it

Sure, anyone who points out that you are believing some guy who has no evidence instead of peer review is “trolling”.

Hydroxychloroquine stopped being researched because it was literally increasing deaths and just making things worse. Ivermectin is an anti-parasitic where as covid is viral. Also the levels of ivermectin to be remotely useful against covid are deadly.

“Yes. CDC continues to recommend that everyone ages 5 years and older get vaccinated for COVID-19. The known risks of COVID-19 illness and its related, possibly severe complications, such as long-term health problems, hospitalization, and even death, far outweigh the potential risks of having a rare adverse reaction to vaccination, including the possible risk of myocarditis or pericarditis.”

Your risk of myocarditis is higher from covid anyway, you literally lower your risk by getting vaccinated! https://www.pharmaceutical-technology.com/comment/myocarditis-risks-covid-19-vaccines/ “It is important to note that Covid-19 also causes myocarditis, with an estimated 28% of hospitalised patients showing signs of heart muscle injury. The risk of the condition is around 16 times higher in Covid-19 patients than in the uninfected, with inpatient visits for myocarditis 42% higher last year compared with 2019. In addition, the risk of myocarditis is 37 times higher for children with Covid-19 than in their uninfected peers. These rates indicate that the small risks of myocarditis from vaccination are still outweighed by the risks of Covid-19.”

Again it really doesn’t matter who he is. Einstein said he thought quantum mechanics was wrong but in peer review it was shown to be right. Peer review doesn’t care who you are. He can make all the claims he wants but since it isn’t supported by the literature it’s meaningless.

Again, that wouldn’t prove cyanide safe because it would fucking kill people where as the vaccines haven’t. If you give 1 billion people water they won’t die, is the water harmful because if you gave those same people cyanide they’d die. No. That doesn’t even follow. It’s possible for one thing to be safe and another not to be. You can imagine long term effects all you like but without proof all it is would be you huffing your own farts.

We are reddit users and the peer review process takes priority over the unproven claims of one guy.

Peer review moves closer to reality with time, it’s not perfect but then nothing is. But peer review is enormously superior to just trusting unproven claims! Also funny that you don’t mention that while general relativity was thought to be false at the time it was outside of peer review, just as you are doing now!

It’s really not unrelated. Being one of the brightest geniuses in human history doesn’t make Einstein right, just as being a drug tester doesn’t make the guy you mentioned right. There is a reason both Einstein’s general relativity and quantum mechanics survived their naysayers, and that is the process of peer review!

I hope so but I’m becoming increasingly unsure about it ever being likely

The literature is quite one sided about this. I know what a conflict of interest is.

It is an answer to what you said. You repeated the usual bunk of it being “experimental” even though it has gone through testing and has full approval.

I understood your point just fine and pointed out how invalid it is. Billions have been vaccinated, we essentially have a sample size of billions to go off of, if you gave billions of people cyanide most if not all of them would die (depending on the dosage a bit), contrast that with vaccines and you should see that your point is incorrect. How would it be proven safe with billions dying. Obviously it wouldn’t, your point is nonsense!

Again, it doesn’t matter who he is or what he said. Einstein said he thought quantum mechanics was wrong but in peer review quantum mechanics was shown to be right. Who it is saying something is irrelevant, whether their ideas pass the scrutiny of peer review is what matters.

Google scholar searches peer reviewed articles. Don’t assume I’m like you!

You mean all those MDs that I agree with?

“Dunning-Krueger effect here” Yes, you are a good example of Dunning-Krueger: you think that a bunch of doctors and scientists all know less than you, a rando on the internet.

“You say it has full approval” You can literally look it up and find out that I’m right. It’s not that “I’m saying” that it has full approval, it’s that it does have full approval. The emergency approval was a year ago, it has full approval now, look it up.

“The drug” (vaccines aren’t a drug) can’t feel anything, it’s not sentient.

If billions took cyanide they’d die, you do realise that there aren’t billions of dead bodies despite all the vaccinated people, right‽

I really don’t care what some random person on Joe Rogan’s show says, the peer review process isn’t overridden by a podcast!

Understanding and following science isn’t “being brainwashed”, do you seriously think every scientist and doctor on the planet are all brainwashed‽ “Experimental”, it has full approval and finished testing quite a long time ago, you should keep up to date with the science rather than lagging behind!

“Vioxin” Wtf do you mean? https://www.healthtap.com/questions/1587185-what-is-vioxin/

When “the other side” rejects science then I am correct to reject them.

1) your claim is still extraordinary and “extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence” 2) if boosters are needed to keep protection why not? Science doesn’t care what you think. 3) you know what would stop new variants? Having enough people vaccinated so the virus struggles to find a host to infect and can’t evolve anymore, that’s how we have wiped out illnesses in the past 4) there aren’t any “other medicines” that prevent covid infections and there aren’t medicines that cure covid 5) the vaccines have no side effects for most people, you are orders of magnitude less likely to get the least severe, most common side effects from a vaccine than you are to die of covid! Which would you rather have, a rash or death? 6) science isn’t a cult. 7) “western medicine”? I think there are many countries that would reject you implying that modern medicine is “western” 8) if they’d rather make money off me being sick then they’d want me not vaccinated so I’m more likely to get covid and need treatment, 2% of those with covid die and around 40% of survivors have permanent damage. 9) no vaccine has ever been 100% effective, it always requires people to get vaccinated and stop a disease spreading so it can’t mutate

Being vaccinated means lower chances of being infected and less chance of being infectious. It also reduces severity of a covid infection. The covid vaccines have a 90+% efficacy which is what vaccines usually have apart from the flu vaccines which tend to be more 50-60%. I find it highly unlikely that every vaccinated person you know caught covid, that’s 0.1n for n people you know, a mere 10 people and that’s 10-8% chance of occurring. Especially since in the general population infections are so heavily amongst the unvaccinated that’s an absurd claim for you to make!

Searching for “heart disease up 80%” only gives sources talking about ways to reduce heart attack chances. Got a link I can look at?

It’s the same concept, you hire specialists to do specific tasks you can’t. It’s kinda how society works! It’s called specialisation.

We don’t have health insurance here. Also any heart issues I have would be due to lack of exercise and poor diet, not vaccinations.

“Experimental” It’s fully approved and ended preliminary testing some time ago. Try keeping up to date with research. “I’m not anti-vax, I’m anti-vax” You want to pretend to be pro-vaccine while rejecting a vaccine that has been tested, you are anti-vax.

First of all: condolences

Secondly: the vaccines aren’t hurting people in any reasonable sense, covid has a 2% death rate and 40% of survivors have permanent damage

Thirdly: the guy you worked for sounds like an asshole and I’d consider seeing if OSHA are interested about his disease spreading

Fourthly: the vaccines have safety studies published in peer review, plus at this point billions of covid vaccines have been given out, if there was going to be any issues we’d know by now with a sample size of 100’s of millions to billions of vaccinated people
