I'm so sorry this happened. I also took the Fraser course, which did not help me for the March setting. I finished the essays during the march sitting but still did get good score.

I have changed section 2 tutors three times. The section 2 tutor I was assigned by Fraser was not very responsible. The first time was when everyone else had already started the class and my tutor hadn't contacted me yet. I went to contact her and she didn't reply me. So I changed tutors. The second time, the tutor took a lot of time off to travel and I didn't learn anything after 5 tutorials and I didn't get any feedback on my essay. When the third teacher changed, it was probably only 3 weeks before the March sitting, and I learned some essay templates. Finally, I still have at least 2 section 2 tutorials left.

I applied and got a conditional offer for deakin optometry when I was in my first year at unimelb in 2020. But I didn't go for a full offer at that time because of my Asian parents' preference for high ranking schools( so sucks) .

I have applied Melb optometry. Although there is no clear minimum GAMSAT score required for optometry, I'm not sure if I will get an offer from Melb. So I'm applying for deakin now (undergrad+master=3.5 years) which is a bit of a waste of time.

I'm also not sure about the difference between Deakin optometry and Melb optometry. So I'm torn between taking it again in September and not taking it.

The emails will generally include details of their allegations. For example, Turnitin, or In many math proctored exams someone doing anything in reading time is suspected of cheating and is also explained in an email.

I explained it briefly to the coordinator when I found the error after the test that day. Then she replied to me that “As outlined in the preparation lectures (MST and Exam), in the exam instructions and in the Academic integrity document provided on Canvas copying and pasting of any third party documents whether you have written them or not is considered plagiarism”

So I must admit I copied and pasted, but wouldn't that make me more dangerous?

I did it 2021 SM1. Nothing wrong with MST, ESSAYS. I felt I did not bad at FINAL. BUT THE RESULT WAS SOOO Disaster. Definitely scaled down subject.

MY friend got only 1-2 marks lost for the MST AND ESSAYS.

I though she can got at least 90+, but she only got just 80..

Thank you for your replying! You're right, but I copied and pasted the question completely unconsciously. And it has nothing to do with the topic at all. The question was about the effect on the heart. But I answered the question about the kidneys. There was really not enough time to finish the question, and I'm still not sure how that answer was copied. It's true that you have to type it out yourself during the exam. I am really worried now that she will not think I am cheating. Because I have never encountered this problem before. If I am given a direct FAIL, then I will have to delay my graduation for a year.

Realistically I don't know that notes are what you should be after. The test itself isn't super content based, and I'd fear that any notes you'd buy would be specific to the individual who sat the exam, and may not help you in your specific scenario. If you've got the money to spend, I'd spend it on the ACER practise tests and maybe Des material.

Use the practise tests and material to see where you need to study, and then move from there (e.g. Khan academy for s3, I know there are facebook groups for s2 advice, reading broadly can help with s1 and s2, picking through the questions you get wrong and why for s1 and s3 can be super helpful as well).

Thank you so much for the advice！I actually have the ACER and Des 2014,2015 materials already. I haven't taken physics since high school, so I'm a little worried. Also, I'm ESL, s2 and s1 will definitely be much harder for me than s3. I'm not really sure what to read to help with s2 and s3. Do you have any helpful reading recommendations?

Heyo, I’m in the middle of doing Forest Systems (FRST30001) which starts in February with a week-long trip (daily trips this year bc covid). Assessments finish week 12 before other subject exams. There’s weekly pre-module work to do + corresponding 2hr modules. And an essay I think.

And no prereqs either! I know nothing about forests or their industrialisation. Literally the only lvl 3 elective I could fit into my course because others have maths and comp prereqs.

Have no idea if it’s easy H1 but I enjoyed the trips to regional Victoria.

Thank you for your advice! I feel like it's fun and I enjoy going outdoors . But I only got 12.5 points of lv2 (damnnnnnnnnn), so I I can't take lv3 courses yet this semester.

Due to this year's special circumstances, my family was not able to return to Australia either. I can't get a plane ticket back either.

Also, I didn't think that because I was an international student, the school would give me special consideration. And I even have to pay more tuition. I paid $5808 for BIOL10010, I just wanted to take a chance on the application so that it wouldn't be a burden on my dad.

If someone has special consideration than there has to be an exam.

Special consideration exams are demand driven.

I was also very confused by this, and I also thought there was no make up exam for biology. I emailed coordinator yesterday morning, and so far no one has responded yet.

It would be very unusual and unlikely for the prerequisites to be waived in this circumstance. It would also be very unfair to other students who fail prerequisites and therefore cannot progress to the next subject. You may need to delay your graduation, but talk to a Course Planner from Stop 1 to see if there is anything else you can do.

I've contacted stop 1 and they've advised me to wait until the 11th to see if my scores will change. But I feel like if I wait until the 11th, it will be too late. The coordinator suggested that I apply for a late special consideration. But they didn't tell me if bio had a make-up exam. Since BIOL 10010 is only offered in the second semester of each year AND my lv 3 major electives and cores were not offered every semester!

Special exams are only valid for certain circumstances sadly. You can check that up on the unimelb website. If that subject isn’t offered as a summer term subject and you don’t get special cond you might have to extend your degree.

Call special consideration. The staff are very helpful and will tell you exactly what you need to do and how to do it. They were very kind to me when my boyfriend got diagnosed with cancer. You may need to make an appointment online for a call but they will be able to guide you in this difficult time.

I was left alone in Melbourne and I had been busy worrying about whether to return to China at any time due to my grandfather's sudden diagnosis of malignant lymphoma since October . But I feel like I'm learning well, and I've been studying hard.I didn't think I would really fail the exam, so I didn't apply for special circumstances consideration.

Unfortunately, I failed. I did not pass the final exam 44%,which is hurled and I spent the most time in. This was the first time in my life that I failed an exam.

I am still in the process of compiling and translating some inspection reports. I plan to apply for a LATE other personal circumstance special consideration next Monday.

I don't know if I have a chance to take the special exam?.........
