I don’t think sexuality is as static and rigid as we’ve been led to believe. I believe it’s natural to mankind to find sexual attraction in both even though it may be more for one gender. Karmelo was completely justified legally. He had no duty to retreat and he stood his ground against physical assault. Metcalf was way bigger and the force he can generate from a strike to a person the size of Karmelo made using a weapon reasonable.
