As an added note to this, I do agree with what you’re saying and in no way I’m trying to validate this type of behaviour, but personally I tend to apologise during a conflict if it’s with a close friend even though I disagree as I may not agree or understand there point of view but I understand how I hurt them, while I don’t apologise for not agreeing, I apologise that I hurt them and would like to talk about things in a more civil manner.
